Finally met with the big doctor who will be operating on me.
He looked at my ankle and said it still looked really swollen. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow but the swelling needs to go down a lot and he did not look convinced. He said sometimes it takes up to two weeks for swelling to be reduced. This is ridiculous.
On top of that he said I probably won't be able to exercise for 6 months and won't be fully recovered for a year.
Crazy how one moment or one silly decision can turn your near-perfect life into a shambles.
