Tofu Mountain

I had a weird dream last night.

I dreamt about a movie, starring Heath Ledger and Matt Damon as gay cowboys living on a mountain and eating tofu.

And every time they kissed little tofus sprung up from the grass like mushrooms and hopping forest creatures. And they laughed and played (naked) in all their tofu glory.

Then I woke up, realizing that the gay cowboy thing had already been done, and felt kind of foolish.

The movie co-starred Kiefer Sutherland and Queen Latifah.

My virgin eyes!

A family member accidentally sent me this text message yesterday:

My response: Ew!

I think I am scarred for life.

The Epic-ness of May 2006

I just discovered that the ship has a beautiful lounge complete with INTERNET ACCESS.

Not only will I be able to experience the exotic wonders of the Mediterranean, but I'll be able to blog and gmail chat my way through the incredible voyage.

And to sweeten the deal even further, I was able to re-route my plane ticket home to include an extended stop in Boston (and receive an $8 refund) on my way back to LA!!!!

I will be attending CAMPUS DANCE!!!!!!

And so I present a tribute to Campus Dances past:

Super Mysto Weekend

I journeyed to Purdue this weekend to spend some quality time with the sis.

Indiana is about as mysto as it gets.

For starters they have laundry rooms in their gas stations...

Social life revolves around a single strip mall which houses convenience stores, restaurants, and oh yes, the bars.

They have very clever names for their eating and drinking establishments.

A local favorite is the peanut-buttered hamburger which I ordered at Sandra's unfortunate suggestion. (Note: Peanut butter and meat DO NOT go together.)

There is no shortage of unattractive people.

They hold Halloween in the middle of April. During the day. And call it "Breakfast Club."

Drunken beings litter the sidewalks.

And late at night, everyone converges on the social epicenter of all Mid-Western life...Wal-Mart.

A fun excursion.

But it's good to be home.

4/20 recap

It seems as if Katie's move to Venice served as a sort of tipping point for Blackout Thursday attendance.

Every since she's become officially a part of the Westside gang, everyone and their mom has been coming out.

Last night even saw the appearances of Alec Shane and the Glamazon herself, Ms. Aly Parker. At 6'3" (and hot), Aly makes a great bar partner.

Also, Brandon (my favorite) is in town visiting Kristy.

Following Q's, we headed over to Mr. Mysto's pad where we happened upon some extra fun and a highly mysto bodybag-type object.

We went home and I feasted on old rice soaked in delicious soup.

4/20

Fantastic night. Q's, obviously.

In a rush to get to the airport to go to Indiana for the weekend.

Here's all I have time to upload for now.

Happy 4/20!

Seeeeeeasonnns of....LooooOOOooOOOove.

For some reason Doug just happened to have the Rent Soundtrack on his computer.

For some reason we ended up blasting it during our little Beirut tournament last night.

For some reason every single person in the room knew the words.

Straight beautiful boys. My friends. How I love thee.

...........................

Lately I've been taking tons of photos. For the rest of the month I'm doing free test shoots to build up a growing network of hot little actors and models. These guys tend to have hundreds of myspace friends and end up posting their new headshots on their sites so I figure it's great free publicity.

I don't generally like to post the pictures of my random clients because, well, it's kind of unprofessional. But the ones I took yesterday are just so kickass that I think I kind of have to.

Flakes and fatties.

Some model chick from the Amazing Race 3 totally flaked out on me today.

In mourning, I went to Shakey's Pizza for their buffet. Not my proudest moment.

I was, however, accompanied this time. Unlike last.

I went with Dan.

Only made TWO trips to the buffet this time. Gave myself a little pat on the back for that.

Also felt better about myself when I watched Fupa bite into a taco he had filled with greasy C-grade ground beef, buttered corn, sour cream, and blue cheese dressing.

Venezia!!!!

Awesome things about the party Alec had last night:

Sean, in town from San Diego.

Delicious drinks mixed by two very gifted bartenders.

The hat. (Notice how it rests gently on my gargantuan head while Katie wears it as you would a lampshade.)

The best game of Kings...EVER. (Featuring two epic new rules: Freezemaster and Accents.)

The drunk 14-year-old.

19-year-old girls making out.

And a really flexible dancer chick.

Critical mistakes.

I was bad.

Very very bad.

The Mormon has not called.

Quite possibly because I am so very fat.

But also perhaps because I texted him Wednesday to get something stupid translated into Spanish. (I locked Bjoern's keys like a total dumbass in his apartment and needed to write a note to the cleaning lady for help.) He replied back promptly and helpfully. All seemed well.

Thursday I texted him breezily to invite him to Q's. No response.

Friday night I called and left voicemail.

It is now Saturday night.

Nothing. Nada. Zilp. Zilch. Fuck.

Oh god oh god oh god.

I am an idiot.

The End.

We went to Q's to shower him with love. And food.
