Denouement

After a weekend of fun, everyone and everything was a wreck.

We grabbed some Spike's on Lincoln Field.

Following this we went on a little adventure.

And Mini Golf!

Finally, we closed out the weekend with a totally epic Wingfest.

I'm comin' home!!!!

Graduation!

We missed the actual procession. And the actual ceremony.

But we caught the crowds afterward around 1ish. It took about 15 minutes to cross the Main Green.

The morning was spent engaging in morning-after residual silliness.

And in the evening we checked out Spat's, the new Max's, located where Sura used to be.

Also there's a new PPE on Thayer!

The Day After

Yesterday was for sure one of the top 10 most epic days of my life.

Like last year, it was the day AFTER Campus Dance that was the big blowout.

It began with my 2nd Annual Post-Campus Dance FunFest.

For a week, weather.com had been predicting rain rain rain.

The morning was foggy. But like most things, it just worked out and around 10, the sun triumphed and out came the meat patties.

An assortedly wonderful group of friends turned up. No drama. Just lots of getting along and awesomeness.

And fish catching...

And tanning...

And general horseplay in water of questionable toxicity.

Dom and Birthday Boy Felix arrived around 5, bringing with them the promised torrential downpour.

But happily there had been a contingency plan all along and we waited out the rain with an epic 20-person game of Battle of the Sexes Taboo.

Before long, the sun came out again, as if nothing had ever happened.

The early evening was spent playing Race Wars Taboo: Whities vs. Darkies.

The results were as would be expected...

...........................................

Pre-gaming brought us to KG's place where we listened to some rockin' tunes until DJ Sammy's "Heaven" came on.

I'm not sure if it was Gen or Taku who originated it, but in keeping with tradition, the lights went off, glowsticks came out, and we had ourselves a 7-minute Rave.

......................................

From KG's, we made the trek down Thayer and ended up at Viva.

It was pretty much a private party.

It was pretty much awesome.

Towards the end of the evening, Felix, ever true to form, disappeared.

We found him though. Looking incredibly guilty with a certain Binnster.

Kathryn was NOT pleased.

Campus Dance!

This morning I woke up in a parking lot. Outside Nimisha's house. In my car. With my seatbelt on.

No I did not drive there. It is where I had left my car before dinner.

I had enough sense to wear my seat belt. But apparently not enough to actually go into Nims's house to sleep.

How I got there is a long and somewhat unexplainable story. Something to do with several lost and/or forgotten cell phones.

Let us look examine the clues:

There was late lunch drinking at Paragon...

Followed by beautification at Nimisha's...

Followed by a failed sushi dinner (there was an hour wait for sushi)...

Which resulted in heavy drinking on empty stomachs and a semi-inebriated search for food...

...and an impromptu pizza party...

...and the incredible discovery of a bottomless tray of buffalo chicken at the Young Alumni Tent...

Followed by the not-so-secret free drink table...

And early signs of tiredness...

And a search for some of our favorites...

And then some more...

And some requisite flailing on the ground (possible cause of one lost phone).

This was followed by lost-ness in a sea of dancing smartpeople.

And finally, varying degrees of auto-piloting which, for me, included a stop at Antonio's...

Which leads us back to our end result -

Me.

Asleep.

In my car.

Seatbelt on.
