Boston!

The day after Campus Dance I cruised up to Boston to visit Lee and my long lost friend Nater who has just moved to Boston from Colorado.



Whenever I hang out with Lee we end up dancing around and then stuffing our faces with scary Chinese food.

Saturday night was no exception.

Baby Henry!

I stopped in to visit with Dan and Emily and Baby Henry. They are doing great.



Baby Henry has the longest eyelashes EVER!



Yay!

Campus Dance 2011

Campus Dance, 7th year in a row. I went not knowing who else was going and who I was going to see, but you can always count on seeing a couple of familiar faces. After the 5th year, it's really only die hard Brownlovers or locals who make it out. I went because I had to go up to RI anyway to get my car fixed. Yes I finally have mirrors again. Yay.



Saw Evan and Stephen. They were wearing cute complementary colors, very fitting.




Stephen and Sara are semi-newlyweds. Congrats to them yay!



Free drink table is still going strong.



I love my fellow talls.



And I bumped into Toni and Tad. Who I probably haven't seen since Rach and Rob's wedding.



Ooh and at the stage I bumped into PamLittky, filming a documentary, who told me she photographed the Bieber poster that hangs over my bed. THAT, I thought, was really cool.



Campus Dance Forever!



Although exactly one year from now Felix and Connie's wedding will take place on Campus Dance weekend and so it is highly likely I won't be able to go. :-(

Borobudur Temple - Big Buddhist Temple

On our second to last day in Indonesia we went to Borobudur - the world's largest Buddhist temple.

I wore a sarong!



We all had to...to be respectful.



The temple. It BIG.

Lots of tourists from all over. But in Asia, everyone worships the white man. Here little kids all pose with Daniel.




The temple stairs were super steep.



And the place was surrounded by jungle and mountains.







On our way out we made wishes on the sacred Buddha thing.

Min & Ted's Wedding

So my week in Indo was amazing.

In general it was really chill. We were there five days and I really only worked on one of them. The rest of the time I ate, drank coffee, hung out by the pool, and got massages.

We took a couple of pre-wedding "engagement" photos for Min and Ted (Teresa's bro). It was impossible to get a bad shot. The scenery was spectacular everywhere you turned.





Then the morning of the wedding was moderately frenzied. Originally the ceremony was set for 5:30 pm, but because we had been experiencing torrential downpour every afternoon, they moved the ceremony to 10:30 am.

The morning was always beautiful. It would start with a low fog.



And the rays of sun would shoot through the fog and it created an awesome effect.



Min fired the hair and makeup team assigned by the resort (they were randoms from the local village and had no idea what they were doing) and her sisters and cousin became her hair and makeup and styling team.










The bride looked fierce!



And also quite happy.





It was an intimate ceremony.



With heartfelt speeches.



Laughter...



And a surprise musical performance by Min's crazy aunt Jenny...



We did some portraits...

There was a lovely dinner.

Dancing.



And then...there was an afterparty.







There was a bouquet toss...



Which Teresa won.





Then there was a garter toss.



Which the boys were really excited about.






The ultimate high point of the dance party came when the DJ finally played Justin Bieber's "Baby". (He originally didn't have it. But after several requests and "boo"s and spontaeous chanting of "Baby...baby...baby OHHHHH" from the entire crowd, he caved and downloaded it.)

We went nutz!





Super fun wedding!

And the best part was I made lots of new friends from all over the globe. Australia...Singapore...Dubai.... and thus hopefully will have more international wedding gigs to come in the future!
