Farewell Honey Soap

Many or most of you who have visited the Brockton Crackhouse have experienced Panrosa Honey Soap, the 99 cent wonder that smells absolutely of nothing that even resembles honey and is, in fact, quite disgusting.

Well my friends, I am happy to announce that after approximately 397 days of a seemingly neverending bottle of faux-honey nastiness, the Honey Soap is NO MORE!

Chrispy rocks my world

Now Chrispy, before you get your panties all knotted up and start ranting about NDAs and all that fun stuff, let me just say for the record that the below image came from Marvel.com

See, Chrispy has hooked me up big time with his little PR squad and they now send me screenshots to retouch so that their games look all pretty and shit when the shots are published in magazines or on websites etc.

Lately I've been getting a decent amount of work from them.

Last Tuesday I did 3 screenshots.

Last Thursday I did about 30.

And today I did 9.

42 screenshots x $35 = CHRISPY I LOOOOOOVE YOU

Dougie Doug me love you too.

Send more screenshots!

Me love you long time.

TIPS - Holly's West

So there's this little "organization" called The Ivy Plus Society (TIPS) which has somehow managed to amass a sizable following here in LA.

They charged $14 a head for admission to Holly's West, which would normally be dead on a Tuesday night, and the place was PACKED.

Bri and I decided that we are going to start our own little mixer club except we're going to play up the exclusivity factor (a la Studio 54) where we only allow interesting, powerful and/or hot people to join. There is absolutely no reason why someone else should be raking in thousands of dollars for putting together silly little mixers.

It was really fun though.

Lots of Asians.

Also, I realized that hello I am bigger than my friends.

Brianne partook in the alcohol.

And eventually it kind of devolved into a sausage-fest. (And not the good kind).

Everyone was in agreement as to a plan of action.

Carl's Jr., baby.

Sooooo incredibly epic.

Bjoern's camera

So Bjoern let me borrow his digital camera, which is totally sweet.

You probably can't tell the difference.

But I can.

And WOOOOO!!!!

Monday, April 23, 2007

Mondays aren't that bad.

Broken camera = Day off!!!

Met up with Danny, Thomas, and visiting friends from Paris/NYC at the Promenade for a delicious lunch at Trastevere.

Mmmmmmm strimps....

Ever notice how the Third St. fountains are oddly California-appropriate? (Or inappropriate...)

After lunch we cruised down to trashy Venice beach.

Then met Matt at home where he found out the incredible news that he booked a shoot with Eva Longoria this upcoming weekend!

We washed our pretty new cars to celebrate.

Gotta love the LA lifestyle.

Saturday night

Me, Kristy, Kristy's work-friend Tayde, and Tayde's enormous arm-tattoo started off Saturday night at Eleven, the new really nice, really expensive restaurant/bar in West Hollywood to celebrate Kristy and Tayde's work-friend Chris's boyfriend Rob's 40th birthday. (Did you get all that? Did I screw up any possessives?)

All of Chris's friends were 30-something giant-bicep-ed shaven-headed gays. A very interesting crowd.

Kristy had two pomegranite margaritas and was drunk.

Very very drunk.

From there we went to a little Brown/Deerfield house party at Chrispy's friend Cushing's house.

Cushing happens to live with a Deerfield boy who dates a Brown girl so that somehow resulted in us knowing a whole lot of people, including Naia's random hot neighbors who were somehow also there and linked to Cushing which all in all resulted in a really good time.

Doug and Jay dominated the beirut table for most of the night.

Everyone else kind of just mingled and drank.

At one point some drunken randoms held a drunken party host as he did a keg stand, and dropped him ON HIS [really pretty] FACE.

An almost-fight almost broke out.

Good times.

Bobby's new digs.

With the purchase of a new Venice pad, Bobby has officially moved to the west siiiiide.

It's not on the beach...but you could definitely throw a cat or puppy or something from the roof deck over the neighboring building and it would land safely on warm happy sand. Maybe.

I'm not totally sure pictures can convey they total sweetness of it.

The ceiling must be at least 30 feet or so.

Did I mention the third floor roof deck?

Also there is a sweet garage door/patio/bamboo forest thing in the main room which is pretty unbelievable.

We spent the afternoon unpacking.

This is place is going to be so much fun!!!!!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

I get a new car. Bobbo gets a new life.

Thunder stealer.

More bad news.

My camera broke yesterday.

In the middle of a shoot.

For the beautiful Ali sisters.

Apparently there was some kind of short or something.

They have to send it to Canon to get fixed.

I won't have it for like two weeks.

Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do in the meantime.

Hopefully Bjoern will let me borrow his sweet camera.

....

Spent the day with Emily yesterday.

She booked an emergency ticket and flew back to RI last night.

She had received a call yesterday morning from her best friend Erin telling her that her (Erin's) brother had been killed in the shootings at Virginia Tech. (In case you live under a rock...cnn.com)

When the shootings happened Monday, the parents tried to contact the brother and couldn't get in touch with him. They worried something was wrong but noone could tell them anything. Flights were booked full so they chartered a plane and flew from RI to Virginia. They had to wait a full 24 hours before doctors or police would confirm that their son was dead.

It's disgusting. And sad. And sickening.

Did you hear about how each of the 32 victims were shot at least 3 times?

Jesus fucking Christ.

What a weak little ugly Asian asshole bitch.

Enjoy your lives people. If you're working at a job you hate, quit and do something you love.

Seriously.

Life is too short and too unpredictable.

JEREMY PIVEN!!!!!

So I was in Beverly Hills just now, cruising down Rodeo, doing a little shopping and being generally sweet on my day off when I saw a mass of people gathered at a street corner.

I looked a little closer and could see what looked to be several cameramen and crew members wearing black T-shirts with "Entourage" emblazoned on the back.

Then it happened.

Making his way around the mass of people was none other than Ari Gold himself.

Of course I only had my stupid little camera phone with me.

Dammit. Dammit. Dammit.

My heart pounded all fast and shit.

He was so beautiful.

Jeremy Piven I loooooooooove you.
