Yup, ever since I launched my new wedding site just about two months ago the weddings have been stacking up! I think I'm getting ready to raise rates again. Yay!

In Hong Kong!

So last week when I was in LA staying at Amanda's we went and rode bikes and I was filling her in about Cancun and how awesome it was.

So finally she got tired of hearing about it and said, "Well...I don't want to brag...but I'm going to Hong Kong next week..."

And I was like, "Uhhhhh....I'M going to Hong Kong next week!"

So by total coincidence we are in Hong Kong at the same time.




Yay!!!

Ok more on this later. Time for lunch and shopping!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend was fun.

It started with a Four Loko party at Chrispys...




Then we celebrated Shiri's birthday at Anchor Bar.







Then Katie came in from New Orleans to play.



All her KP girls came out to play as well.



Girl power!




Katie's brother Mike promotes for some clubs in the city, so he got us into the Highline Ballroom and poured liquor down our throats.

Madison Square GAGA!!!

So a couple months before I ended up going to Lady Gaga the first time, I bought tickets a year in advance through ticketmaster to go to the show that happened last night.

Because I bought through ticketmaster, I wasn't even able to get two seats together, I had to buy separate seats at opposite ends of the stadium. Super lamesauce. Never again will I buy tickets through ticketmaster. Stubhub is so much better.

This time around I brought KrissyKristen as she has never seen a Gaga show and expressed lots of interest.



We arrived early to watch the Scissor Sisters opening act. And managed to share one seat for the entire concert .

They were pretty decent seats. Though from pictures it looks like we were a galaxy away from the front row.

Once Gaga came on, it became apparent that show was going to be exactly the same as last time.



That was a tad disappointing.



But still she's an incredible performer.



And artists always put on a GREAT show when they're at MSG because MSG is a pretty big deal.

TV Tomorrow

So if you tape the Wendy Williams Show tomorrow at 10am on FOX (or whatever station carries it in your area) you might see a familiar face...

Excitement brewing!

I woke up to the most interesting and random email ever this morning from a long lost friend:

Hi DKwan!

Hope you've had a lovely 6 years of life. My apologies in advance for this random and forward email. Our mutual friend AnnieAli (yay Annie!) mentioned that you now live in NYC. Congrats on the move!

I am writing to you in regards to being a model for a show. ( I thought of you because you're tall and models are tall. And I remember you being pretty. I hope that's still the case). (Has never been the case.)

Anyhow, I've been producing for the [insert show name] Show for the past 2 years and I have a [insert major celebrity's name] segment on Thursday.

It's her birthday. For her SURPRISE segment, I need [insert number] models to walk out giving her a birthday cake. (She's turning [insert number]. So each model would hold 2 cakes)

Here are the facts:
1. [insert show name] Show- would need you to arrive to the studio no later than noon on Thursday. You won't be at the show later than 3 pm.
2. You need to come with your own black T-shirt and pants....I will supply white gloves
3. You will be one of [insert number] men presenting a cake to [insert celebrity's name].
4. The episode will air the following [insert day] at [insert time] am on [insert network]
5. I can't promise anything except a fun time, a professional producer, and lunch. I will also give you a dvd of the episode and the episodic photo.

Are you free on Thursday? I would never ask you do to something that would embarrass you.

Thursday happens to be the one day I'm free before I head to Hong Kong, so I think I'm going to do it! Yay!!!

The Roommate / Never Say Never Double Feature!

My last night in LA, Sunday Night, there were two huge movies out that Lady Di and I both really wanted to see.

The Roommate and Never Say Never.

We decided to see The Roommate first, since Never Say Never was obviously going to be the better, more-uplifting movie.

First though, we stopped at Cheesecake Factory for some big fruity drinks.



We got to the theater and it was empty.



The Roommate was everything we had hoped it would be.



It was ludicrous, hilarious, terrifying. (I think a 6% tomatometer rating on rottentomatoes was a great indicator of how much we were going to enjoy it.)

If you liked I Know Who Killed Me, you will LOVE this movie.

After The Roommate, we had an hour to kill. So we went straight back to Cheesecake Factory and ordered more drinks.



And some "appetizers"...



We had budgeted half an hour to wait in line to ensure that we got good seats...

And sure enough we were the first ones in the theater again! Yay!



This time though, the theater ended up being pretty full.

And then movie....was amazing.



As you may know, or could probably guess, the movie follows Justin Bieber on his crazy path to worldwide superstardom. From his days playing the guitar on the steps of his local movie theater to his first time performing at Madison Square Garden. All of which happened in the span of just over a year.



People who dismiss the Biebs as talentless and annoying would have nothing to say for themselves after watching this film. Sure, his screaming tweeny fans are SUPER annoying, but the Biebs himself is the defintion of talent.



I think I also just really loved the movie because it reminds you that anything really is possible and that A LOT can happen in the span of a year.



We are Beliebers for life.
