New Orleans: Parks and Recreation

Adam lives at the most incredible intersection of streets EVER.

Carondelet between Peniston and General Taylor (which, when spoken fast and in a southern accent becomes "Genitalia".)

Amazing.

For the rent we pay for a single tiny room in NYC he and his roommates are able to rent a beautiful three bedroom house with three bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Sigh.....

For brunch, Adam, Khalil, and I hit Milk Bar.

They specialize in giant scrumptious sandwiches.

We drove by Katie and Semmes' new home.

And then walked around Audobon Park which is I think where Tulane is.

It was such a beauuutiful day and wonderful escape from the frigidness that is New York.

We also went to City Park, which claims to be the largest city park in the USA.

At the end of the day, Adam's wonderful roommate Michelle came by with a bottle of wiiiine.

I love daydrinking!

The above photo series was inspired by Britney's amazing song "3" which if you don't know you definitely shouuuuld...

Last Sunday in LA!

"It's amazing how a seemingly docile brunch can turn into an entire day and evening of pure decadence." -Alex Cotton

The Abbey was packed yesterday as we head into Gay Pride Weekend this upcoming weekend.

Oh god...daydrinking...

The Abbey makes an amazing Pineapple Mojito.

I have not seen Meredith as often as I would like to in recent years. But she remains one of my original muses and I have my awesome life now partly due to her inspiration.

Crazy that it's been 5 years since we met on craigslist and lived together!

Abbey daydrinking turned into Beer Bust $1 Beers at Motherlode.

Jesse and I made new friends.

And what happened at Motherlode stays at Motherlode...

Brian's Birthday!

I can't believe it's already Brian's birthday again because I so vividly remember Brian's birthday last year. It really doesn't seem that long ago. Crazy to think I've been out-of-commission for seriously almost half a year. (Cringe.)

Anyway... it's Brian's birthday again!

Brian and Wes celebrated by having us all over to their lovely home for an afternoon full of Sangrias, tapas, and friendships.

Cupcakes!

Chicken tacos with pineapple/mango salsa!

Sweet potato fries with various dips!

And a doggie!

We hung around daydrinking and had a wonderfully relaxing Sunday afternoon.

After most guests had left, Brian went back into the kitchen and whipped up some Killer Beef Tacos.

I had a few too many Sangrias and spilled an entire bottle of beer on Smileyjohn while trying to put my arm around him for a picture.

Sorry Smileyjohn!

(The beefs were amazing.)

And retardedly spicy.

Brian and Wesley are such wonderful hosts.

Happy Birthday Brian!

Taco Tuesday! / Dr. Dan might be a child molester

Just a few weeks from being officially sworn-in as a Child Psychiatrist and Dr Dan has nothing to do but daydrink and grow creepy facial hair.

It's midday Tuesday. Let's drink a head-sized margarita!

It put my little Double Bloody Maury to shame.

Oh, also... it's Taco Tuesday!

Fiesta Cantina offers All-You-Can-Eat Tacos for $4.95 (with drink purchase)

We each ate 8 tacos. They were yummertons.

Then Dan busted out his Kris Allen signs that he had made in anticipation for Idol this week. (We didn't get to go. Sadface.)

But I have tickets for next week!

Oh and then we drove down Robertson and saw Paris and Nicky Hilton shopping at Kitson. Woo.
