HALLOWEEN IS UPON US!

Halloween is the greatest holiday.

Tonight should be pretty epic.

I've recently begun back-blogging my older entries, adding more pictures (didn't use to post as many pictures...)

Pictures are the best!

You agree, yes?

Every halloween I always get nostalgic about halloweens past. Maybe you do too.

So here are some links to take you back to those older blog entries so you can relive the magical days of our youth:

Please vote NO on Prop 8!

Emily and I went phone-banking tonight calling from household to household to make sure people were A. Going to vote. B. Going to vote for Obama and C. Going to Vote NO on Prop 8.

Prop 8 is the California proposition that denies the right of marriage to same-sex couples.

As of now, polls show that we may be falling behind and dangerously close to losing our hard-fought right to marry.

If you're a California voter, PLEASE vote NO on Prop 8.

Gays deserve the right to be happy and married to the gays that they love.

It's a great feeling, taking part in helping to make history happen.

HSM3!!!!

On my way to see HSM3!

Don't judge.

Spotted: Formerly epic show now starting to suck major ass

Gossip Girl was RETARDED today.

Blair needs to stop being such a little C U Next Tuesday. This whole insecure petty crap has gone on too long and is seriously annoying. (She has been looking hotter than ever though...)

Nate going for Jenny is totally implausible and unrealistic (not to mention gross).

Serena needs to rediscover her personality instead of flip-flopping between sweet nice girl-next-door and rebel daughter socialite.

That Agnes chick was not nearly pretty enough to be a model.

Jenny has stupid stupid STUPID hair.

AND WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE KILL VANESSA????

Come on guys. Find your footing. The season started out so well.

You can do it!

Tshirt Opinion

I'm thinking about getting this T-shirt. I think it's funny. Makes me laugh. A lot more than it should.

Thoughts?

I am a dork.

O-Bar / Fubar

It's good to finally be back in LA.

We went to O-Bar last night.

Nick was pouring drinks.

Super-strong triple-shotted drinks.

Wastedface was inevitable.

And even more exciting, we bumped into Eugene's former sugar-daddy Steven!

..............

After the open bar at O-Bar we crossed the street to Fubar where I followed Jay into the backroom to pilfer beverages from the cellar.

I love that so many of my clients are bartenders/bar owners.

Also I love Danny!

It's Friday night. I'm staying in. Got a tickle in my throat.

Too much debauchery.

Tomorrow: More Gay Dancing!

Goodbye NYC

It always saddens me to leave New York.

Motormouth Maybelle

I shot this woman Yvette the other day that plays the Queen Latifah role in Hairspray in the stage version.

As soon as I found that out I was all giddy and excited.

We sang together.

It was awesome.

I have to watch Hairspray again.

Right now.

Goodbye sweet city.

Sunday | October 19

We had a leisurely morning.

Packed up our bags.

And left.

New Orleans was amazing.

I will definitely be back.

Maybe next time I'll get to see a FEMA trailer.

Anne is the best!

I love presents!

Back to New York!

Night Three: Gebauchery

Saturday | October 18

It looked like it was going to be another solid night out.

We started with dinner and some big-ass beers.

We even had our standard crowning/beading ceremony.

But then the shiny-haired one decided that it would be better if we bought alcohol to drink at home.

But once we got home, they decided to stay home.

SADFACE.

Happily, Supercuts had put me in touch with his fun and fabulous friend Katrina (no joke), who apparently knew everyone in the New Orleans gay scene.

I met Katrina at the Bourbon Pub. Possibly the most fun gay bar I have ever been to.

The downstairs features a wrap-around bar (good for checking people out) complete with dancers and video screens playing the poppiest collection of music videos (the moment they played David Archuleta's "Crush" I was done).

Upstairs there is another circular bar as well as a dancefloor.

There's also a giant wraparound balcony which allows you to look out onto Bourbon St. and people-watch.

Basically anywhere you go in the bar there are multiple sources of visual stimuli.

Here's how it looks in the daytime.

So amazing.

So, Katrina proved to be as fun as Supercuts had described.

Drinks were cheap.

And Katrina knew everyone at the bar.

So by the end of the night I had a number of cute new friends!

In the morning, I woke up next to Felix wearing the fanciest wool Lacoste sock I have ever seen in my life.

No idea where it came from.

Anne thought it was the funniest thing ever.

.....................

I'm just glad I didn't end up like this:

NOLA Day 3: Sausages and Costume Shopping!

Saturday | October 18

After waking around noon, we walked over to this square where Jazz was playing and they were serving bbq goodness.

Yum to alligator hamburgers and snausages.

Following this we stopped by a huge halloween store to pick out costumes for Halloween.

I found an awesome pilot uniform which apparently looked so good that it inspired other people in the store to instantly pick up pilot uniforms as well.

For Anne I found a sweet Belle costume.

Wouldn't she make the most perfect Belle?

Felix decided to go with the co-pilot (or wingman) uniform as well.

Halloween is the best holiday ever!

As much as I wanted Anne to be Belle for Halloween (and Phil to be Beast), she opted also to get the pilot uniforms for her and Phil.

I must say she did look sexy.

HALLOWEEEEEEEN!!!!

God people in New Orleans are so fat.
