Year 4 of 4...

Campus Dance
Friday | May 23, 2008

It's hard to believe we've been out of college for four whole years.

FOUR YEARS.

We could have gone through college all over again.

And we did so much in those four years. Met so many incredible people.

Found our friends. Found our loves. Found ourselves.

I guess these past four years have been pretty crazy and exciting as well.

But those first four were SO life changing.

And so it is with this annual weekend that we return and commemorate the wonder that is an d was and will forever be Brown University.

..............

Heidi was wearing hot metallic strapless hotness.

We prepartied at Heidi's. Getting all excited for our upcoming trip to France.

And then, it was off to the Main Green.

At Campus Dance it is notoriously difficult to find your friends. But part of that fun is running into other people you hadn't planned on seeing.

30,000ish babed-out smartpeople stumbling around in pseudo-darkness.

One of the first people I bumped into was fellow WeHo-er JessieCooper.

Then, of course, I found M.A.O. and friends.

Australian Alistair had sent Chelsea up with a bottle of champagne, so she broke that open and the real party started.

The usual suspects were all present.

And of course, there's Team MVP T.O. who has been to Campus Dance almost every year and didn't even go to Brown.

The bars were chaos...

So we stockpiled beverages...

Felix vomited a little...

But rallied quickly.

Epic. As usual.

See if you can spot three randoms in the picture below all making the same wastedface:

Solution:

So there you have it.

Year 4.

Great time. No momentous fake-proposals or insane wastedface debauchery...

...but next year. Five year reunion. Is going to be OFF THE HOOK.

Updates from Anne's Shoot

I'm in Rome.

It's beautiful.

Got some email updates from Anne from her shoot in Hong Kong.

Herro!
So, hong kong is more fun with you guys. I arrived yesterday (thurs) and had a fitting until 8pm. Today I get my hair colored and the Sat & Sun we shoot for two days. Craziness!

It has been good so far, there are 2 other models and it's video. I have to do a little part on my own- in print & video that the other two won't do. Yay! Makes me special but also just means I will work harder.

France

I'm on internet for about a half hour.

Just got back from St. Tropez.

Beautiful.

But slightly rainy.

I think I saw Alessandra Ambrosio.

Off to Rome tomorrow.

Maybe I will have more internet there.

Campus Dance and stuff

I'm scrambling and packing for France.

Flight leaves in a few hours.

Depending on whether or not we still have internet connection at home I may or may not be able to get pics up this week.

Stay posted!

If I don't post, I'm back in NYC June 3.

MAO's first gig

You might have blinked and missed it because I mentioned it super briefly, but over New Years while we were in HK, I brought Anne into my modeling agency and they took one look at her and knew Asia would love her.

Well...I said it wouldn't be long before she ended up on some random Asian billboard... and I was right.

She just landed a gig as the face (head/hair) of major hair product brand in Asia. (Probably shouldn't disclose the name until ads come out.)

She flies back to HK this week for the three-day shoot.

Soon she will be a celebrity throughout Asia and we will roll around in money and free hair products.

Did I ever post the casting video we made?

It's great.

Anyone else want me to manage their career?

CAMPUS DAAAAANCE

PREGAME UNDERWAY

HERRREEEEE WEEEE GOOOOoOoooooOOoO

Kickoff!

So I've been kind of boring lately. I know it.

Things have been slow since India, but it's definitely the calm before the storm, because these next few weeks are going to be totally insane.

Campus Dance. France. GPW. Vegas. NYC again...

...and here we go!

.....................

We hit up Kasadela which apparently is like Nobu, but cheaper.

Started off with some creamy delicious sake.

Had seaweed salad and delicious fried chickens...

Got another bottle of sake on our way to wastedtown...

Ordered some Oyako Donburi (Chicken & Egg / Mommy & Baby)...

Fried chicken wings...

Deeeelicious.

Dinner finished...but the night was only just beginning.

Seated next to us was a table of Anne's friends.

Two who quickly became my new favorites were Anne's BFF Chelsea and her Scottish boyfriend Alistair.

Having been segragated into Asian/White tables during dinner, we decided we needed to continue drinking and bonding and integrating.

We headed down the street to Rue B where we double-fisted Ketel One cocktails.

And spotted SamHodges on a date...

The place was pretty chill, but we were looking for more of a "get wasted" vibe.

So we wandered onward.

And of course where did we end up?

Sing-Sing.

Today. I am hurting.

First thing I woke up to was a text from Anne:

"Hmmmm okay we left Diana's suitcase in the trunk of our cab. Not yay."

And so it begins...
