So as we were leaving Vegas, Danny's car started to make awful scary noises.
Then the check engine light came on.
So we pulled over and found a Meineke as soon as we could.
They checked it out and said something about the spark plugs and burning a hole in the floor of the car. I dunno. Sounded major.
So we were without car. And had to wait. And wait and wait. Like 6 hours.
Luckily Meineke was in a strip mall complete with Dollar Depot, Target, and Petco!
Josh and I thought we would surprise Danny with a little present, to make him feel better.

A suspicious looking present yes...

OMG!

'Tis a mouse!

We named him Buster.

He promptly urinated and pooped everywhere.

Oh how we love Buster.

Joshy wanted to clean his little ball, since it was covered with feces and urine. So we went into the bathroom of Target and proceeded to give him a little mousebath.

All the people who walked in or by thought we were nuts. It was kind of funny.
Oh and then Danny almost puked because micepoop smells y'all!

Anyway, 6 hours later, after being sent to a Volvo dealership to find a part, and then having to install it ourselves...

We got back on the road.
And then 5 hours after that we were back in LA at like 2am.
We had said the whole time that we were rescuing Buster (he was for sure going to be purchased to be fed to some awful snake or something) and we were going to give him a better life in Beverly Hills...kind of like what Madonna does with all those African babies...
So we brought him home with us...and then set him free!

Run free Buster, run free!

(Within seconds, it became apparent that Buster had no survival instincts whatsoever. We're pretty certain he froze to death that first night. Or was eaten.)

God Bless You Buster!
