Back in the day, when I was obese (see below) and had about three friends and a bicycle, I used to sit in my room and write Haikus dreaming about the day that Andrea Chen would fall in love with me and my great writing talent would be discovered and I would win the Nobel Peace Prize for Haiku Writing.

I guess things often don't work out the way we hope or plan...
But here are some classics:
A Slush Haiku! (1/28/98)
Ah! The joy of slush.
Little children slip and slide.
Broken necks abound.
Rolled-Ankle Haiku! (2/5/98)
Goddamn these crutches!
A Special Olympian
Moves faster than I.
Indonesian Haiku! (3/6/98)
All the little kids.
Stitching, Stitching Nike shoes.
Work HARDER fuckers!
Keep them coming. MORTIFIED, here you come!
