When I was growing up in Rhode Island, one of my favorite things to do was to play video games and go karts at the Seekonk Grand Prix.
The place has been around forever. And it really hasn't changed all that much.
I celebrated my 8th, 10th, and 13th birthdays there.
Back then, my dad gave each of my friends $5 worth of game tokens and a couple of go-kart tickets each and everyone thought he was the raddest dad ever.
It was neat to revisit the place with my college friends now that we're all "grown-ups".
Afterwards, we cruised down Thayer St. for even more nostalgia.
Gosh I love Providence.
And I love that my friends all love Providence.
Coming back is always so great.
