Journey to Providence

Since textsfromlastnight.com is the new internet obsession, I've decided to structure my Campus Dance blog entries according to the text messages that were exchanged around the pictures that were taken and events that occurred.

Most texts are verbatim. Some have edited for effect. Some are just plain made up.

There was traffic. So we killed time with sushi.

Then it was onward into the night.

Tee was exhausted from her day-long journey from Thailand.

So we stopped halfway and spent the night at Connie's beautiful home.

MAO: When do you get in?
DK: packing. leaving concons now

Within an hour we were in Rhode Island! No traffic = yay.

Stopped quickly for frozen cappuccinos at Tim Horton's.

And then we were in our dear little city.

Popped into the 2004 tent to register and get our dorm keys...

And then it was onto Andrea's for lunch and preliminary cocktails.

And then of course we had to stop at Antonio's.

Chicken Parmesan I love you.

MAO: Where are youuuuuu
DK: Brown bookstore being silly!

As we left the bookstore...

Alejandra: Look behind you!
DK: (turns) what? where?
Alejandra: WE'REEEE HEREEEEEE

People continued rolling-in over the next several hours.

Let the celebration begin!
