Our last night in NOLA involved a semi-epic meal at Emeril's. (Semi-epic only because Semmesey's fish came out cold and when he told the waiter, he came back at him really defensively, blaming him for being "improperly educated about Emeril's fish-preparation techniques"...super lamesauce.)
My meal, however, was quite warm and quite delectable.
I had the Shrimp and Scallop Carbonara.
Followed by Emeril's Banana Cream Pie.
Thank you to Smershy and Semmes for lending us their beautiful home in New Orleans all weekend.
Wish we could have played more!
