Britney: Night 1 (The Long Version)

OK I just arrived in LA but I'm gonna post real quick about Vegas.

------------------------------

I arrived in Vegas Thursday night.

Rusty arrived that night too.

We went to the Venetian to dine at TAO and do some shopping.

Venetian is pretty. TAO is yummy. It was a chill night. The next two were gonna be big...

For lunch on Friday we went to my favorite Thai place downtown, Le Thai.

If you ever go there (and YOU MUST) it is in downtown Vegas and you must get the WATERFALL BEEF.

Also the ginger fried rice is quite good as well.

After lunch we shopped and then went home to get ready for dinner and the big show.

This picture is SO Vegas and SO Rusty.

We met for delicious tapas by Jose Andres with my friend Samantha and her husband and their fellow billionaire friends. They were all "oh we're flying back Monday you can just ride with us..." even Rusty can't compete with that level of baller-status...yet.

This caviar omelette thing was YUM.

Rusty was a little underdressed for the restaurant...

AND THEN it was off to Planet Hollywood!

Loves having a private escort down to our VIP booth.

Which came with bottle service, whee!

I slightly wish we had been a little more center-stage... but whatever, we were the next night.

Wooo! Britney!!!!

I am so obsessed with this show. You hafta hafta hafta go see it.

At one point we looked behind us and saw these two little kids sitting on the back of our booth with earmuffs and escorted by an older man and woman and Rusty was like "Who the eff brings their little kids to the Britney show???!?!"

And we were like, "Uh...those are Britney's kids and parents."

It was Sean Preston and Jayden James and Jamie and Lynn Spears!!!!

It would be pretty cool if my mommy could do this...

"OMG! She's an ANGEL!!!"

The other star of the show is clearly Willie Gomez. He is such an amazing dancer and such a presence and SO BEAUTIFUL.

Bottle service = wasteyface.

"Freakshow" did not feature a celebrity this time... Last time it was Nicole Ritchie.

This time it was some random hunk.

And this time there was a little midge in a bee costume!!!

LOVES some great pyrotechnics!

And here's Willie stealing the show again.

OBSESSEDDDDDD

We screamed at the top of our lungs to "Lucky".

And of course the Toxic tree was the best.

The End! Until tomorrow!

Oh and the fancy ladies celebrating their 40th bdays in the booth next to us became our friends. Who doesn't love a pair of fun giants?!?!?

Tall Gay Agenda @ Atlas

Last night we had our first official TGA gathering in a longgggg time. Inspired by Miss Britney herself, our group is now doing it's own residency at Atlas Social Club in Hell's Kitchen. Hopefully once a month we will be having Tall Tuesdays with all of New York's Gay Giants converging on the bar at once.

I had a fancy benefit to attend last night so I didn't get to TGA until around 10pm when things were starting to wind down. I was told there were over 150 giants who showed up!

Our Dear Leader Evan was as usual an amazing friendly welcoming host to all the newbies.

John and DanielK (who we saw just three days ago in Vegas at Britney) were back in town too.

We had a bunch of midge admirers on hand too. Loves a midge admirer because without them all our pictures just make us look like we're normal-heighted!

I love all my tall brothers!

Off to LA tomorrow for the Grand Opening of Lisa Vanderpump's new bar, PUMP!

Britney Night 2!

So on Night 2 (Saturday night) we hit up the Britney show one final time (for now), this time with my friends John and DanielKorn (DK!) who also happened to be in town from NYC and who also happen to be giants.

We showed up at the venue an hour and a half early to make sure we got the best possible standing position right up in front, pissing off lots and lots of little people.

We were so close that the stage lights would often shine directly into our faces, blinding us. #frontrowproblems

From here we could see EVERYTHING unobstructed. You could see all the little looks and smiles and stuff the dancers gave each other while they're going through the show. And they could see us, Britney literally looked RIGHT at us several times, four giant heads popping out the front row are pretty hard to miss!

DK was suuuuper excited. It was his first time.

And of course we got to see lots of WillieGomez, the superstar dancer who steals every number he's a part of.

During the show, one of the dancers saw the group of us and I think fell in love, and during one of the last numbers, while he was hidden behind a set piece, but still in view of our little front section, he pointed at us and screamed "Piranha! PIRANNNHA!!!!" lol

I text Willie (pictured above) since we're FB friends and he confirmed that all the dancers were headed to Piranha after the show.

So we piled into a cab to headed to Piranha.

This is what it looks like when you stick three giants in the back of a cabbie. Not comfortable.

But we found Piranha to be packed with people and other fellow giants and we made lots of new tallfriends. And the dancers showed up later too. Yay! I love Vegas.

Britney: Night 1

I'm in Vegas!

A couple months ago my friend Samantha from Atlanta told me her husband/daddy bought her a VIP booth at Britney to celebrate the birth of their new child.

Sam I met last year when she found me on the internet and hired me to shoot her company's headshots in NYC and SF, almost 50 people I think. (Whatever 50 x $250 times a million is is approximately how much I love her already, the fact that her huzzy happens to be like a billionaire is an added bonus.)

Knowing how much I loved the Britney show last time, and knowing how I ride airplanes more than I ride the subway (she and Chris are both Delta Diamonds as well), she invited me to come.

Now...whooooo else do I know who would fly somewhere for a fabulous concert...Rusty!!!

It was epic.

I don't have time to post more pics because I'm getting ready to go to the show again in a couple hours.

Yes, the other day when I posted on facebook, my friend and fellow giant (and fellow DK) saw and offered us tickets for tonight as well. Soy amazing.

TREAT YO SELF.

OK gotta run, but you can see pics from last time if you want by clicking HERE.

NYC livin'

Sorry I haven't posted much in a while. I'm sure you've just been refreshing and refreshing waiting for updates.

Been hanging out in New York (my home!) for the past couple weeks and it's been wonderful. Taken in a bunch of great shows. Hung out with lots of friends. Had some fabulous brunches.

If you are in the city or come to the city you HAVE to go see Here Lies Love. Of all the shows I've seen in the past few weeks it stands out as the most unique and fun show I've been to. It's a cross between Evita and Miss Saigon and Mamma Mia and Sleep No More. The music is by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim and you stand the whole time and the set is constantly shifting and changing and the audience moves around with it and it is just SO COOL. This video doesn't even do it justice.

Anyway. Life is going to get crazy really really soon, so I will have plenty to update you on.

I'm off to Vegas this weekend to see Britney again. Then the following weekend I'm in LA/Palm Springs. Then RI then Denver then Barbados then Denver again then LA, Belize, Newport, Ibiza, LA again, Boston, Maine, Virgin Islands (maybe), Newport again, Tahoe, south of France, Italy, Martha's Vineyard, Palm Springs again, Virginia, RI, Mexico, Cayman Islands, South Carolina....26 more weddings total. And counting!
