We woke up early to leave Las Vegas.
Happily hungover we were not.
We passed through Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam.
They were constructing a huge new skybridge thing over the Hoover Dam that looked like something out of a crazy movie.
Hoover Dam was kind of neat. We got out to take pictures.
Then it was sleeping and speeding the rest of the way.
We passed through various types of terrain.
Stopped at random rest areas.
And soon were in the Arizona desert.
We found a Meteor!
And stopped to "Experience the Impact"...
And then it was onward to Shiprock, New Mexico - where my cousin Charmaine lives on a Indian Reservation working at the local hospital.
Chinese Fire Drill!
(Mexico Masks courtesy of MAO...)
Oh and we stopped at McDonalds where the Fast Food Mexicans were replaced by Fast Food Indians. Look same...but 3,000 times slower.
2 hours of random rock formations in the desert and random Indian shantytowns later...
We finally arrived!
Charmaine brought us on a beautiful sunset tour of her neighborhood.
First and probably last time I'll ever see New Mexico!
