To say that we woke up to a treat is an understatement...

The pool had its own little island and lazy river. It was amazing.

Quaint little dining/family room...

Some modest guest bathrooms...

And a pleasant little view from our balcony...

Good work Noops!

Plus we helped the environment, as the entire property was solar powered.

Solar powering came along with one weirdness though. The water temperature in the shower would randomly switch between being deathly cold or scalding hot.
Noops's sis-in-law Subha burned her little hand while trying to take a bubble bath.

Nothing some mid-morning drinkies can't fix!

For the next few days we did very little aside from lounging around poolside, drinking, and chatting about life and fun and goals for our 30s.

Noops's friend Quan (pronounced "Kwan"!) brought his babies. Yup this is what happens when you're 30!

We had a delicious family-style lunch.

Played by the beach...

And then shuffled Noops upstairs to get ready for her birthday party while we converted the living room into a picture-filled Noopur shrine.

Yup, Noops officially has the most thoughtful, caring friends in the world!

After the place was COVERED with photos, we went upstairs to get ready for a Sexy Mexican White Party!

More to come!
