The Pre-Wedding

In the days preceding Dan and Emily's wedding, guests slowly trickled into Providence to prepare.

We hit up Wick Pub, home of five-dollar 34 oz. beer mugs...

Scouted out the tent...

Had the rehearsal...

And then had rehearsal dinner at the Ratty (the Brown dining hall).

And of course hit up Viva with the darkies.

Everything's set. My speech is written.

I think we're all giddy with anticipation for the wedding.

MAO's BIRTHDAY | Crazy Asian Photos

Today is Anne's birthday.

Send her some love.

....................

Anne wins at life.

She is special. Smart. Beautiful. Hilarious. And will destroy you with her ability to rip apart your brain psychoanalytically. (Sucks at Scrabble though.)

Annie, I love you. Happy Birthday!

................................

And now... long-awaited photos from the crazy asian photoshoot that in a few short months is going to make her the new face of beauty in Asia.

Shakey shakey shakey | Steph's going away celebration

Shake Shack in the summertime. Best ever.

Waiting in line for an hour. Worst ever.

Steph is moving from NY to SF.

There's so much transition going on right now. Everywhere.

But it was a happy celebration with good friends, epic food, and Felix reenacting his night in Vegas.

Having downed several roadies and appropriately wasted, we headed back to the Chelsea apt for Beirut domination.

Bye Steph!

See you on the West Coast!

(Sorry about the hat Ace. As you can see, Felix had it last and he does not know its whereabouts.)

Narns @ the PBM

Naia was on the front page of Defamer or something the other day having attended some party at the Playboy Mansion with Diablo Cody.

She appears to have spent time in The Grotto...

Saw Kendra and Hef...

And then hooked up with Joey Mac from NKOTB.

Nice work, babe!

"It is said that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!"

KUNG FU PANDA!

A movie this good deserves its own blog entry.

Funniest effing animated movie I have seen in my entire life.

I was in a pretty awful mood too. Clients have been flaking on me all week.... Keep hitting my head walking around the treehouse... Etc. Etc.

But KFP will lift anyone's spirits.

Seriously it is brilliant.

I've always kind of wondered why it's necessary to hire big-name talent for animated films because most people can't even recognize voices...but this movie changed my mind.

Jack Black is amazing. I have newfound respect for the man who played the weedhead in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

Um....

I paid $8 for a box of cereal today. (Honey Bunches of Oats)

NYC is ridiculous.

RIP Moondoggie

Mike and Kristy's cat Moondoggie (aka Moonberry) died yesterday.

It was really really sad. She was almost 9 years old.

Late last week she had throat problems and they brought her into the doctor and had her checked out and xrayed and couldn't figure out anything wrong.

Then I think Sunday night/Monday morning she began having extreme difficulty breathing and they brought her in again.

Xrays, cat scans, endoscopies...I didn't even know they did all that stuff for little kittys. (It costs as much as it does for humans...without insurance.)

In the end, she didn't make it.

Goodbye Moondoggie. I know you're safe and rolling around and acting like a dog in happy little cat heaven.

Leave her some love on her MySpace.

NYC Crazies

...Was just walking through Chelsea and saw a crazy-ass old woman semi-dressed like a pirate digging angrily through a street corner trashcan and throwing everything - newspapers, glass bottles, old food - straight into the sky and showering it upon passers by.

When she couldn't find what she was looking for she took the trashcan and threw it into the middle of the street strewing garbage everywhere, and then she angrily crossed the street and began digging through the next one.

It was hilarious and terrifying at the same time. I must have watched her go through four different trashcans.

Also I saw a gay get hit in the head by a half-eaten chicken sandwich.

Jess Up!

I feel like talking in exclamations!

Jessup came into town from HK for a night!

Arj has moved to the city too!

Jessup likes to dance!

I met a girl with a lazy crazy eye!

Also we bumped into DannyHong who confessed to being this blog's #1 fan and is the one who turned my Canadian asian fanboys onto it.

That was pretty awesome.

Bad news though.

New apartment.

Is next to McDonalds.

McDonalds is the new LA Buns.

Welcome to my summer of obesity!
