The world is small...houses are big...

So Glen, Kristy's ex, invited me to go to this charity event up in Tarzana that he was catering.

Attendance was a could hundo a person, so the chance to attend a fancy little function with delicious food for free, well, it was a no-brainer.

The estate where the event was being held was MASSIVE. Pictures really can't convey the size of it.

It was super sweet. Glen seems to have "made it". Not necessarily an A-list event (the most famous people there were girls from Deal or No Deal.) (And Steven Segal.)...

But it was definitely real cool.

Most randomly though, I bumped into my old Deerfield buddy Textor, who I probably haven't seen in almost six years. Textor's girlfriend Stephanie is best friends with Emily who is engaged to Nick who is Glen's (Kristy's ex) business partner/co-chef. Follow that? Totally random.

Even more random is that Tex was only visiting for the day from San Francisco. And he was staying with his cousin Julie, who is also a Brown alum and who hosted the last BUEG Conversation Series (tomorrow's host: John Krasinski) because she's the star of Boston Legal and is a little bit famous (she was also the babe in Happy Gilmore).

Another random coincidence was that bartending at the event was another Andrew, who I recognized as one of Bjoern's former clients and who is also good friends with Wally from working at East/West.
So much random coincidence-ness.

Tex is awesome and, well, still so cute...
