Noopur & Corrado's wedding

It was so beautiful down in Mexico!

Noops had several beautiful outfit changes over the course of 4 days.

Her mom and Corrado's mom were meeting for the first time, and they were basically twins. It was so cute!

Zameer hosted the Sangeet...but Noops's niece Sahana stole the show.

Loved seeing all my gorgeous Asian ladyfriends who I haven't seen since Ibiza!

This gold outfit of Noops's was probably my fave.

So cute!

On the actual wedding day, Corrado rode into the beachside ceremony on a horse.

It was totally epic.

The ceremony itself was super pretty too.

So beautiful!

Awwww these besties are for life.

Noops had another outfit change for the reception. And then for late night she changed into this sparkly number. It was sooo much fun. These are all the pics I processed for posting on instagram so this is all you get. For now. Maybe.

Congrats Noops and Corrado!!!

Then early this morning (Sunday) I hopped in a cab to catch an early flight to Grand Cayman (via Miami UGH).

It SHOULD be only an hour flight if it were direct...Cancun and Cayman are real close. But alas, it is not and involved a full day of traveling.

I've arrived though! And ready for Engage14 to begin!!!

India Wedding Part 2: Houston

So Sonia and Summit, my beautiful bride and groom from last week, got married all over again, this time in Houston. Literally they had a whole ceremony and the same speeches were given and they had another Sangeet (dance party the night before the wedding) and another enormous dance party. This one bigger than the first.

The only difference was that this time it was a Sikh ceremony, so the everything took place indoors (which is great because Houston is frickin hot), and everyone had to wear head coverings. Like a bunch of Little Red Riding Hoods.

Oh and Summit got to carry a sword which he killed several small creatures with.

The banquet hall was massive and really well lit.

There was a lovely cake.

And like 350 guests.

Sonia and Summit led another massive dance party.

I saw some of my favorites from last week, like Paolo, with whom I bonded over being tall and having enormous tonsils. (He's getting his tonsils taken out next week because they are so big they affect his breathing and make him snore like a rhinoceros. Just like me!)

We stayed up dancing until most guests went home. Then we ran around the room and gathered all the rose petals we could find. And we threw them! Yay!

Ok back to New York bye!

SF Indian Wedding

First some obligatory details shots...

OK so I was in Half Moon Bay this past weekend, just south of San Francisco, to shoot the wedding of Sonia and Summit, friends of one of my headshot clients from YEARS ago.

The wedding was in Northern California, but everyone was from Los Angeles, and so, of course, everyone was GORGEOUS.

Even all the Aunties had perfect smiles.

Pretty people at a pretty wedding makes my job SO easy!

The groomsmen wanted to look gangster, so we did this shot in their ManCave...

I wanted the bride and bridesmaids to look like Sex and the City: Bollywood Style.

Was quite happy with how this shot came out.

It was a really fun wedding.

Some Uncle even skyped in from India!

The reception was so much fun. A mix of pop and bollywood classics.

I actually stayed and partied with them all until the very end!

Congrats Sonia and Summit!

I came back to NYC for a couple days, but tomorrow I'm off to Houston for PART TWO of their wedding celebration. Nuts!
