Barbados Night 3: White Party!

Calvin Harris - "Summer" will always remind me of this night in Barbados...and basically every dance party we had in Barbados.

When I was first told over email that they wanted the rehearsal dinner to be a "white party" I kind of rolled my eyes and thought, "ughhh been there done that..."

Little did I know it was going to be the most excellently executed white party EVER!!!!

They went ALL out. Everything was beautiful and white.

We LOVES a tented white party on the beach!

It was beautiful.

And when the sun set and the lights came on...it looked truly magical.

Of course, when everyone's dressed to the nines in pure white...

(Oh heyyy Shannon Elizabeth...)

...you obviously want to serve the messiest food possible...cue the epic Indian currybuffet!!!!!

I actually DIDN'T stain myself everywhere and the food was SO GOOD. I must have had 4 plates of india food.

Gnom gnom gnom gnom gnom...

None of this would have been possible without my little Zameer! Thank you for the referral Z!!!! (Z designed all the jewelry for this epic fiesta.)

After eating...music came on. I think the first song was "Summer" by Calvin Harris. (Which I guarantee you will be the wedding dancefloor song of the summer if it isn't already.)

After dancing and sweating...we were treated to an awesome reggae band.

And an epic dessert bar.

Look at these sad sad Louboutins... #richpeople

Soy much fun!

Here's me with all the little event planners.

And my little Zameerfriend.

I have no idea how I'm going to blog the wedding... Off to Colorado tomorrow!

Barbados Day 3: Boat Party!

This remix of The Cure - Just Like Heaven is EPIC.

This is the song that played on our catamaran as we headed out into bright blue/green waters and you just couldn't help but think that life is totally perfect.

This is the song you should hit play on while viewing this post.

We woke up bright and early on Friday morning (this after many people partied until the wee hours of the night) to a beautiful sunny breakfast on the beach.

I used to be a huge selfie person before selfies became a thing. Now that everyone's doing it I don't think I do it as much. Maybe I do. Who knows. Sometimes a selfie is required though. Like when you're beachside at an epic resort in Barbados.

There were some paparazzi out and about trying to stalk celebs on the beach. Hope she got a good Tebow or Tiger pic!!!!

We boarded this weird little transportation boat to get us onto our epic catamaran where we would be spending most of the day.

Soyyyy pretty!

Our hostess, V, is like the most fashionable glamorous person ever. I was always excited to see what outfit she'd be wearing at each event.

Pretty, stylish people always have pretty, stylish friends!

Since the boat left the beach at 10am...a handful of people missed it.

No worries though, they just rented jetskis and caught up and boarded us James Bond style....it was pretty epic.

This day was like a dream.

So epic!!!

I love the way the Sandy Lane beach towels pop against the green ocean. Whoever thought of that color scheme...BRILLIANT.

We went snorkeling and explored an underwater shipwreck!

And dove with giant sea turtles!!!

It was epicccccccc!

AND THEN (no and then!) we docked on the beach and headed over to a wonderful lunch at Lobsters Alive.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say these lobsters were the tastiest meatiest largest lobsters I've ever eaten. This pic doesn't do it justice. They are Caribbean Spiny Lobsters. And OMG they were so good.

Oh...also...stuffed crabhead crabcakes and LOBSTER SPRING ROLLS.

These are assistant wedding planners Michelle and Joel and I'm pretty sure we have the best jobs ever. (Mine is better, obvi.)

LOBSTERS ALIVE!!!!!

Steph and Dani were two of my favorites on the trip. So nice and SO pretty.

(If you're wondering why there aren't that many pics of our host and hostess it's because they requested I not post too many pics of them or reference them. But I promise you they are beautiful and wonderful and fabulous.)
