I know...hardly exciting...but just you wait...
So...West Hollywood 24-Hour Fitness is hardly anything to write home about. (If you don't sterilize your hands immediately after touching any of the equipment you run a high risk of a staph infection.)
However, when I first joined they were running a special promotion that was a total no-brainer: $800 for the first three years and $24/year after that.
FOR ALL ETERNITY.
Amazing right? Dumbest marketing idea I've ever heard of. I tried to broker the same deal for my friend just a week or two after I joined and they weren't doing it anymore. I'm sure whoever thought it up was immediately fired.
But yay for me...I have a contract!
It's a club-wide national membership and I'm allowed to use any facility across the entire USA for $2 a month. FOREVER!
I just joined 24 hr fitness two days ago. I can't use the fancy clubs in NYC, but most of the other ones I can. See you at the gym!
