Gossip Boy!

Took some pics today for Connor P. who plays Eric van der Woodsen (Serena's little brother) on Gossip Girl.



He sure has grown up fast!

We were going for not-smiley, not-happy, not-preppy, angsty, troubled runaway.

Gossip Girl Sightings!

Last week when I saw this, I just knew I was going to have to take advantage of my good fortune (and location) and get some epic celeb sightings in.

So the posted signs said No Parking due to filming from 9AM-10PM, and I saw the trailers begin to arrive around 11AM so I figured shooting wouldn't begin until the afternoon with the cast being called in just after lunch.

I had a client meeting in the upstairs lobby of the Thompson LES and was totally caught off-guard when, walking out, I noticed a pretty blonde having a snack/drink on balcony. She was with a friend and was mid-laugh when we looked each other right in the eye and at first I didn't realize who it was and then was like oh my god Blake Lively.

From there I met up with Michelle, who like me was very interested in unabashedly stalking the Gossip Girl cast.

We downed some pints at a neighborhood bar.



Then did a walk around the block.



Nothing.

Then...we spotted a bar with a window seat overlooking the trailers. Perrrrfect.



We downed more happy hour beers until finally we saw the paparazzi on the move.



We scurried across the street and I was so distracted by the flurry of scary paparazzos going after Leighton Meester that I complete missed Penn Badgeley walking several meters in front of her and literally rubbed shoulders with him as he walked into his trailer.

I got a shot of Leighton as she walked toward us though.



And another as she passed.



Sorry it is so blurry. I was trying to be incognito and hiding my camera because I still plan on being best friends with her sometime soon!

Gossip Girl trailers arriving!

I would assume the casts' call times would be around 3 or 4 this afternoon...

Yay!

Spotted: Formerly epic show now starting to suck major ass

Gossip Girl was RETARDED today.

Blair needs to stop being such a little C U Next Tuesday. This whole insecure petty crap has gone on too long and is seriously annoying. (She has been looking hotter than ever though...)

Nate going for Jenny is totally implausible and unrealistic (not to mention gross).

Serena needs to rediscover her personality instead of flip-flopping between sweet nice girl-next-door and rebel daughter socialite.

That Agnes chick was not nearly pretty enough to be a model.

Jenny has stupid stupid STUPID hair.

AND WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE KILL VANESSA????



Come on guys. Find your footing. The season started out so well.

My friend/former-client/loyal-blog-reader Tess contacted me today to tell me she just got cast on Gossip Girl!!!



Tess will be appearing in the upcoming Thanksgiving episode in a guest role.

Hopefully my photos had something to do with her getting called in. That would be sweet. To have helped someone get cast on Gossip Girl? So awesome.

Congrats Tess! Hope you do such an epic job that you get written in as a recurring character!

Gossip Girl Season 2 Premiere

If you like trashy TV, you gotta watch Gossip Girl.

This show is the best show ever with a little bit of awesome on top.

The season premiere kicked much ass.

It was a white party in the Hamptons and everyone looked hot, Nate especially.



Leighton Meester stole the show though in episode one as the writing has gotten exponentially smarter this season and she's being given snappy little lines that make her the new Summer Roberts.



OMFG y'all, this show is so good.

Manhattan Beach

Manhattan Beach. Best beach in the L.A. area.



It was Labor Day. We were going to the beach. So obviously we started it off with gravybeef sandwich obesity at Uncle Bill's.



Danny is sun-averse.

Ergo, the silly hat.




We passed Heidi's crazy grand-aunt Katherine's house.



And found a nice little spot on the beach where we sunned and read and ate grapes all day.




The sky-writer airplanes reminded us we had to get back home by 8pm though...



Gossip Girl premiere!

So gay. So good.

GOSSIP GIRL

I attempted to watch the show when it first started, and for some reason was never really into it.

But after hearing from people ranging from Megoon to Amanda to Kathryn that this absolutely my show, and that they were stunned I wasn't watching it yet, I decided to give it another shot.

I bought the 1st Season DVDs last week and marathoned them over the past 4 days.

And they were right.

Undeniably trashy...but god, it is so addictive.

It reminds me a little bit of my high school. Or what I have always imagined was the magical mystery world of my high school that I was way too dork-outsider to be a part of.

The writing is often laughable. And I can see how someone could walk in on a viewing, watch 5 minutes, and quickly dismiss it.

But it is good.

Chace Crawford is dreamy.

Blake Lively is a force of nature.



Season 2 premieres on Monday!
