Clarence & Andrea's Wedding

After getting home from Dragon-I at the reasonable hour of 4:30am, I took a little nap and then woke up at 9:30am to get to Clarence's 10:30am wedding ceremony at St. Theresa's Church in Kowloon.

I made it just in time to catch the beautiful bride walking down the aisle. (Thank god I was not the official photog this day.)

I was super jealous of the hired photogs though who got to shoot this beautiful couple in beautiful Hong Kong!

Gasp! And it turned out one of the photographers, Sasithon aka Sas, I had met just a few months ago at Zameer's party celebrating our Vogue spread!

The world is soyyyyy small!

The photogs had them climbing crosswalks and running through traffic. Soyyy jealous.

I did manage to get one cute walking shot of them with some HK cabs in the background. Yay...

For transportation from the ceremony to the reception, they had rented a vintage double-decker bus.

It was pretty awesome.

We stopped at the waterfront for the photographer to take some epic photos... SO jealous.

I love love love the buildings in Central. What a great idea to rent this bus.

The reception was held at one of Clarence's restaurants. The fabulous Domani at Pacific Place.

Featuring stunning nighttime views of downtown HK...

Tee was rocking a nasty UDI (unidentified drunken injury) from the night before.

And Tim and Eugene were rocking matching suit-tie combos unintentionally...

Dinner was an epic 6 course meal. It started with an INCREDIBLE scallop with black sesame sauce...

A delicious green soup with a lobster or something under that crouton thingy...

Saffron Risotto with Osso Bucco...

Eggplant pasta... (this was my fave)

Chilean Sea Bass with Black Truffle...

And finally a Wagyu Steak on top of Mashed Potato. YUMMMMM

And then there was a dessert buffet bar.

The restaurant was SO pretty and classy. Unfortunately there was no dancing though.

HK weddings rarely have dancing. Sad.

Love seeing all my high school buddies in HK though!

Cheers!

Congratulations Andrea and Clarence!!!

Typical Day in the HK

I woke up to a bowl of delicious breakfast noodles. Yum yum yummytown. (Dad's diet doesn't allow for breakfast noodles, hence the angryface.)

Then we went out for dimsum with Grandma and friends at the Jockey Crub.

Yummytown x 2.

Then I met up with Princess Tee who has come into town from Thailand to play with me.

Hi Teeeeee!!!!

We went and got head-sized cappucinos.

Literally it was the size of my head.

CAFFEEEEEIEIIIEIIINE!!!!

I learned this technique from Mr Gabriel where you take a picture of each other with the foods in front of you. It is very Asian.

Oh hello Chilli Fries!!! Because I haven't eaten enough carbs today.

OK and then after fries we met up with our TimLoh friend for MORE FOOD at Three Monkys. Famous for delicious japanese foods.

Oh helloooooo short rib brisket braise stew thingy!

Ooooh chicken meatball skewer tsukune I will have two of you please thankyou yum.

Shishito pepparrrs? Don't miiiiind if I do!!!

Monky rice? Anything named monky i will DEFINITELY eat! (except an actual monky. i love monkys, just not for eating.)

(PS Yes I know it is spelled "monkey" but I prefer it without the "e". SORRY NOT SORRY.)

Cheese stuffed chicken wing? Two of my favorite things!

Bite that skewer tim loh. BITE IT!

We have such fun together! My two loves!

TimLoh does what I say. I tell him to "PUT THAT FRICKIN CUCUMBRO IN YOUR FACE." And he does. This is why I love TimLoh.

Also he is pretty.

CUCUMBRO HEAD.

Awwwwwwww...

I love my tee princess!

When in HongKong. YOU DRINK.

With friends!

Cal came to visit from Shanghai also. We all live on airplanes.

Who's idea was JAGERBOMBS. Ok fine i will.

And then...the infamous DRAGON-I.

Hong Kong. Always the same. Always the best.
