Lilii's 1st Birthday -> Vegas!!!

On Saturday we celebrated Lilli's 1st birthday.

Crazy it's already been a year since the little nug was born.

Con is REALLY good at decorating and made everything from the floating poofs to the little pennants or whatever you call them herself.

Soy cute!

It was also kind of a housewarming party as well since not that many people have made the trek out to the Jerz to check out their pad...

OMG LOOK at this little book Con's mom made for them chronicling the day Lilli was born.

If you zoom and read this all the way through I promise you will cry. I did.

Con has become quite the homemaker and was demonstrating and teaching recipes and techniques to the crowd.

Aunt Deb played with her granddaughter...

While Con finished some last minute touches...

The house filled with friends...

And fam...

Besa baked them an AMAZING cake...

And then unfortunately I had to peace out early to go straight to JFK to catch my 7pm flight.

It got me into Vegas around 11pm...just in time for me to make it to the club for the WPPI welcome party!

And look who I bumped into...Steven!

OK more on WPPI when I update tomorrow-ish. Gotta get to bed. Just got home from Vegas and am EXHAUSTED.

Preggo Amanda

I visited Amanda the other day. Have not seen her in a while. She is 6 weeks from having her little baby!

Girlfriend BARELY looks pregnant.

From the front she basically looks like I do after a big lunch. (But whiter.)

I'm thinking I might take more maternity photos and launch a maternity site. Why not create a whole other stream of income right?

Michael recently got a big promotion (he's now the Prezzy of a little shoe company that rhymes with "Shmole Shmaan", no big deal) and he and Amandy recently moved into an awesome new apartment in Chelsea with this siiiiick private patiooooo.

The best part of the patio is that you step right out onto it rather than having to go upstairs to the roof (like her old place, and my place).

Excited for some fabulous summer bbqs and dinner parties!

Cannot wait to meet the little one!

Almost Xmas!

I visited Conlix and Lilli the other day in Jersey before heading up to RI.

Then I drove up to RI and spent a morning hanging out with Dan and Henry, who I accidentally ended up being twinsies with...

Dan, Emily and the kiddies are headed down to North Carolina for the holidays, so Emily had the brilliant idea that we should take Henry to the Brown track and stadium and make him run laps to tire him out. We took it a step further and had him climb the bleachers as well. So cute!

Loves being a fun uncle to these amazing kiddies! Not sure I'm ready for my own kid yet though. Too addicted to my life.

New Orleans!

I've had a really productive (lame) Saturday night. I spent much of the evening reorganizing my hard drive. And watching the first couple episodes of Scandal.

Being a thirty-something makes you so boring...

Figured I might as well catch up on blogging since wedding season starts this week!

I had a great couple days in NOLA last week. (I guess it was last-last week now).

Did some headshots for a bunch of lovely kids...

And a mom...

Had a couple of amazing meals. My favorite, well, one of my favorites, being this meal we had at Dominque's...

We started with a Duck Leg Confit...it was SO good.

Had some oysters...

Oh and we were joined by ChrisCarrot (one of my fave SemmeseyFriends) and his gf Tara.

Oh and my meal that night was their special Housemade Spaghetti and Wagyu Beef Meatballs with oven-dried tomatoes, veal jus, and shaved piave...so rich and heavenly.

Katie and Semmesey had rando fish and vegetable dishes because they're all healthy and shit.

Most importantly I got spend lots of quality time with Beautiful baby Stella!!!

She is just adorable. And SO smiley.

Unless she's pooping...then she makes all kinds of weird little faces.

I call this one "Drunk Uncle"...

On my last day, Grandma came to visit!

Stella is so lucky to be so loved by so many wonderful people.

As was this Sausage Rigatoni I had right before I left for the airport. LOVED.

It was a really low-key trip. Probably my first trip to New Orleans ever where I didn't rage through the French Quarter. That much anyway. ;-)
