NY Magazine Weddings Event!

The line went down around the block. And everyone already had tickets, they are just all CRAZY CRAZY brides!




Better make sure we have our tickets!



Oh? Did you not hear? Melanie got engaged!



The rock...is MASSIVE. I think the center stone is like 4 karats.



And this weddings event was off the hook. Supposedly it's the best bridal show in NYC. (And at $45 a ticket, I should hope so.)





There were cupcakes and cakes everywhere.





All these caterers trying to show off the best of their best foods.





The Gastler ladies joined us as well.



I made the girls bump rings.



Kristen and I headed straight for the open bar.



Megoon tried on the rock, it was like the size of her eyeball. (When transferring the ring back, Mel DROPPED the thing on the floor and had to scramble after it.)



The foods were SOOOO tasty. $45 was so worth it. Plus we got goodie bags. Plus I "hit on" every single pretty bride and gave them my new DK Weddings business card.



Bridemania is the best!



Afterwards, we met up with Felly and Aunt Deb took us to dinner.






MMMMmmm that dessert was tasty!



We were surpremely wastedface off the free wine. I passed out with panties on my face.



What? They were free in my goodie bag!

Off to New Orleans / Katie's Brideshower!

I'm off to New Orleans with a motley crew (Danny Eric Zameer) it should be awesome!



Danny and I will be crashing with Katie and Semmes.

Since they're getting married next weekend, I suppose it's time I caught up and posted about Katie's bridal shower which she had almost two months ago now.

Katie's mom rented out Gregorio's, this cute little Italian restaurant in Chatham, NJ, and filled it with friends and family.



There was a delightful strawberry and goat cheese salad.



A single serving of Megoon.



AND MINICUPCAKES (this was all just to start)



It was a major multi-course ordeal.



And OMG PARMESAN CHICKEN



But not before a full plate of rigatoni appetizer!



And OMG SO MANY PRESENTS.



And a DK designed Newlywed Game Video.



I have never seen any of these people before in my life. Katie has lots of rando Jersey aunts.

Presents took hours.





And then she wore a hat.

Megoon's Bride Party

Smershy flew into town last weekend to organize Megoon's Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party.



The shower was hosted at the incredible loftspace of Goon's future sister-in-law Melanie and her boyfriend Willis.

We gathered around to play games and to watch a really long slideshow of Megoon's life.






And then we gathered around for photos.

And opened prezzzzzents!



It took her like two hours to open them all.



And Katie's mom made a pretty hat out of all the bows and ribbons.

Finally all the bridesmaids received a special gift...a gift...of Bump-Its!




They are those things that people like Snooki wear that give your hair just a little extra bump and it's super fabulous.
