We got into Providence early with time to kill.
So we headed over to Spats. Home of the $15 beer tower.

Katie: We're almost there! Are you going to the philanthropic leaders reception?
DK: Where and when is that?
Katie: Watson Institute, 6-730. I'm going to be late. Then Pembroke Green until campus dance with our class.
DK: Oh ok...please hold
DK: Are you going to the class leader thing?
Farshid: palm treeee. we should yes
DK: I dunno. Will there be free booze and food?
DK: dont call me palmfree TURDSHID
Farshid: ...these are the biggest donors to the uni. of course it will be free.
DK: oh. done and done!!!
Megoon: at a wedding with open bar and open sushi. i am so effed.
DK: MEEEEE TOOOOOO!!!!!!
DK: WHORE DERVSSSSS!!!!!!
We met up with all our class leaders and fundraising committee. It was a great little event.
I bumped into Liz who I grew up with but haven't seen to or spoken to in years. She confessed to being an eggfurious devotee. Hi Liz!
So awesome.

(Note: The woman is not WHOOPI GOLDBERG, but the great President Ruth Simmons, first black woman leader of an Ivy League institution. I bet she knows Oprah...)
