Jersey Shore!

Right before we left for Vegas, Katie invited us down to the Shorehouse again for an almost-Grand Opening of the house. ("Almost" only because there just a few final furniture touches that are in the works before the masterpiece is completed.)




So we descended upon the Shorehouse for a weekend of chilling and grilling and sitting by the pool reading our iPads and playing Words With Friends...it was a mac-gadget-obsessed crowd.



Speaking of electronic gadgetry brilliance, the house features a state of the art sound system that is can be linked throughout almost every single room AND the outside pool area AND can be controlled by an iPhone app.



All of us (not me) with cooking skillz lent a hand.




We had watermelon margaritas.



Fruity sangria-y blends.



And Mike Del G's signature cherry tomato and tuna pasta salad. It is my FAVORITE fish dish EVER.



Oh and did I mention the pool has been filled and is glorious?




We sunned and swam and ate for hours every day.






And drank, for the most part, pretty responsibly...except for one of Mikey's friends who may have gotten a little carried away and vomited and then passed out in the outdoor shower.




While touring the basement entertainment center...




We stumbled down into the wine cellar...and discovered Semmesey sitting alone in the dark, just enjoying a glass of wine by himself. (It was about 100 degrees outside and the wine cellar is like a giant refrigerator - the coolest place in the house.)



Turns out even the wine cellar is linked into the central sound system...



So we proceeded to have an impromptu dance party in the wine cellar!




Wheeee!



We loves the Shorehouse.

Cannot wait until there are couches everywhere!
