Gay Mawwaige / Gay Pride!

This is the week that Gay Marriage became legal in NY.

So historic and wonderful and happy!

I happened to be with Annie and Rachie at the time.

We went out to celebrate.

Annie ended up dancing on the pool table.

Rachie joined her. Avec spillstains.

Love these girls!

There was a beautiful gay pride sunset over Manhattan.

And then the Empire State Building lit up all rainbow-like as well.

It's so nice to live in a city that so embraces its gays.

New York, the greatest city in the universe.

Here's an awesome little commercial directed by our super-talented friend MaxJoseph.

ScoutMob!!!

Oh the flash sale. I used to be CRAZY about Groupon when I first found out about it.

I'd jump on every deal of the day. Then I came to the realization that going out of your way to try to spend all your Groupons is kind of annoying. So I've stopped Grouponing for the most part.

But now along comes ScoutMob.

It's like Groupon, except you don't have to pay in advance for the deals!

It's just AMAZING deals that just show up on your phone.

If you've got no plans for lunch and just want a good deal that's near you, it'll tell you all the restaurants in your area that are offering 50% off whatever you buy.

Today I tried it out. And there just happened to be this little restaurant I'd never even known existed around the corner from me.

I had a max discount of $15, so OF COURSE I'm going to max it out and buy $30 worth of food.

So I ordered a Spicy Mexican Burger...

A Spicy Chicken Taco...
A Roast Pork Taco...
And a Carne Asada Taco...

And a Spicy Chicken Quesadilla and a Carne Asada Quesadilla...

You know you're an obese when they provide you with three sets of plasticware for your meal.

But even then it was only $13!!!!

And the great thing is that although you're only supposed to use each coupon once, as of now their system for tracking which coupons have been used or not used is quite inefficient and technically you can keep reusing your coupons and getting the same deal day after day. (The deals are available from a few weeks to up to a few months.)

No idea how Scoutmob makes any sense to the businesses featured. But yay for us consumers!

Download it on your iPhone or mobile device now!

FYI...I'm not REALLY going to eat all the food in one sitting. I promise.

Britney Spears!!!!

Jesse has an GREAT job.

He works in Ad Sales and so there are always people who want to make him happy so that he sends them his company's business.

Last week he gave me great news that he was taking me to a Fashion Show/Concert AND Britney Spears while I was in town.

Yay yay yay yay yay!

Jesse's friends/girls-he-is-a-client-of, Angie and Sarah brought us out for dinner and DRINKS before the concert.

I had shrimp and crabcakes with SPICY Mac & Cheese.

Then it was off to Staples!

Ladies love GIANTS!

And giants love VIP Access!

We got even more drinks at the VIP Bar. Which is really just like the regular bar except you don't have to interact with any peasants.

And we caught glimpses of opening act Nicki Minaj.

Our seats were in the VIP section, but they were a off to the side...so we had kind of a weird view. Not complaining AT ALL. Very thankful to even just be there!

And the cool thing is that we got to catch a glimpse of Britney dancing around backstage and warming up before her big reveal to the rest of the arena.

Fierce!

From far away she actually looked just fine.

But now looking at pictures it seems maybe she does look a little big...this dancer looks like he's dipping a camel!

But I had low expectations for Brit since her last tour was deemed pretty lackluster...but she really danced her ass off! I think someone must have fed her a RedBull or something!

She performed lots of old and new hits.

I LOVE her new single "I Wanna Go".

Yay!

She played Toxic.

Sang us a ballad...

Wore lots of midriff revealing stuff...

Rode a giant guitar...

And brought down the house with her finale of Toxic / Til The World Ends...

We love Britney!

Here is a great video of her performing "Womanizer" that night, it was quite a showstopper.

Daniel Radcliffe performs Brotherhood of Men at the Tonys

So remember a few months ago how we went to go see How to Succeed and I raved about how Daniel Radcliffe is an AMAZING dancer?

Now you can see for yourself, in case you missed the Tony's last week (which I'm sure most of you did):

Eugela Wedding!

Eugene and Angela's Wedding began with a nice drive along the PCH up to Malibu.

Wayyyy up up up in the mountains of Malibu.

The venue they picked was the height of gorgeousity.

Little details like these pretty succulent boutonnières were well thought out and highly unique.

The place was draped in lighting for later in the evening.

Representatives from our days at the Brockton apartment were in attendance.

Kwanz!

And lots of Brown people obvi.

Angela's sister may have won best dressed, with her fancy hat stealing the show.

And the little halfie flower girl was adorable.

No wedding is complete without a beautiful smiling bride!

Insert obligatory walking back down the aisle shot.

MMMmmmmm foodtime!

The dance floor was decked out with lanterns.

The wedding party had a fun and rowdy entrance, spearheaded by Jo and Poopshid.

They had a first dance.

Angie's bro made an amazing speech.

And then it was time to party.

And eat. Mmmmm cornish hens and meat things. Family style.

Dancing commenced against a gorgeous sunset.

And out came a photobooth equipped with an epic prop assortment.

Euge's bestie Dave stole a chickenhat thing from the photobooth.

And Eugene's mom proceeded to steal that from him and flap around like a chicken. It was amaaaazing.

Throw on a pair of Harry Potter glasses and the look is complete.

Fun fun fun.

Group hug!

Congrats Eugela!
