Hermione might go to Brown next year!

Or Yale. She might choose Yale.

Whatever. Everyone knows Brown is so much more awesomer.

New neighbor!

Danny moved out the other day. Supersadnessfaces all around.

But I have a new neighbor!

Everyone, meet Evan.

He lives in 304. I live in 305.

He is cute and fun and works from home and has a rarely updated blog and sells exit signs. Literally.

We get along because we can marathon TV shows for hours. (He made it through Alias: Season 1 in about 3 days.)

Also, he likes cripples.

Also, we both have roommates that may or may not know how to use a dishwasher.

Evan's certainly does not.

Frickin' morons.

Hugo's FAIL

No celebs. :-(

Actually that's a lie. We might have seen an Arquette. I think.

Maybe Rosanna?

Zefron hair

See, 4 months without haircut = Zefron hair.

I think I'll wait and see what Zac does with his.

Hugo's!

Since Emily and I had our Anderson Cooper sighting at Hugo's last week there have been additional celeb appearances at the awesome neighborhood eatery, most notably Zac Efron just this past Tuesday.

Gosh they must be loving all the free advertising.

Wesley and I are headed there for lunch in hopes of some more exciting celeb sightings.

Will keep you updated.

Ooh his hair is getting long. Like mine. Maybe I'll bump into him at Supercuts.

Totally called it.

Kris Allen made it into the Top 12!!!

(Probably because Mark and I called-in about 20 times each.)

If I could jump up and down clapping I would.

But instead I am bopping around like a retarded beanie baby.

Kris Allen is going to win American Idol.

Amazing. Adorable. And he spells "Kris" the good way.

He is this season's David Archuleta.

I'm calling it now. He's going to win.

Call 1-866-IDOLS-06 to vote or text "Vote" to 5706 if you have AT&T.

You can call as many times as you want.

MarkyMark just did.

Yessssssssss...

Here's his performance of "Man in the Mirror" from last night:

Michael Cera signs on to Arrested Development movie!!!!

Michael Cera has FINALLY agreed to do the Arrested Development movie!!!!!

Everyone else had already signed on and he, being the biggest breakout star of that show, had been the lone holdout.

Maybe they'll bring back the show if the movie is a huge success???

Oh that would be so wonderful.

Or they can just make movie after movie after movie.

Read more at E! Online.

I Love You, Man.

Went over to Paramount Studios yesterday for an advance screening of I Love You, Man.

The movie, starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segel, was hahahalarious.

So so so sooooooo funny. Comes out March 20. You gotta go see it.

I can't believe it's taken so long for Paul Rudd's comedic gifts to be discovered and displayed leading-man-style.

Following the movie, we got to have a Q&A session with the director, John Hamburg. (He's a Brown grad.)

Afterwards we pigged out at Hambo Mary's.

Go see I Love You, Man!

And watch the trailer:

Freida Pinto is the new Eva Longoria

Remember the year Desperate Housewives premiered and Eva Longoria was instantly on everyone's radar and overnight became America's #1 pint-sized superbabe?

Well this is going to be Freida Pinto's year.

It's really amazing that with one incredible film - her first film ever - she's going to cross over into becoming a internationally recognized face, eclipsing even someone like Aishwarya Rai, who had previously been recognized as the most famous Indian actress in world, having made countless Bollywood films for the past decade.

It really makes you wonder about destiny.

It hasn't even been a full day since Slumdog Millionaire swept the Oscars, yet it was already announced that Frieda is going to be the new muse in Woody Allen's next film, which I hope hope hope is more like Vicky Cristina Barcelona than any of the other films he's directed.

Step aside, ScarJo. Filming begins in July.

I really hope she doesn't turn into a diva bitch.

But free jewels and dresses can do strange things to people...

LATIKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obama is so friggin' charming.

It's amazing.

Going Away Party at Bobby's

There's been a mass exodus out of L.A. in the past year or so. And in these coming months we're going to see even more people leave.

This weekend, Christian held a going away party at Bobby's...

His pal Carlos has spent the past couple years in LA and San Diego (at one point working for Diana Ross, of all people) but will be packing up his stuff to work in Peru.

Carlos is one of those people I see only once or twice a year, but whenever I do I just have to give him a bearhug.

(Partially because he is dead sexy.)

The party was a fun mix of people.

Saw a bunch of Brown kids, pseudo-Browns, and long lost friends and acquaintances...

Christian's new roommate is tiny and adorable...

(He tricked her via craigslist.)

...and everyone's favorite Tom Cruise/Zac Efron look-alikes Miles and Conor were on hand giving Carlos a run for his money (in terms of sexyfaced-ness).

Thank you, Christian, for organizing.

I wish I'd been able to stay long enough to see you break something. (See Exhibits A, B, and C.)

Thank you, Bobby, for hosting (and providing supplemental photography).

Goodbye Peruvian Prince!

OMFG so jealous.

Max you bastard.

Oh, of course PamLittky has the Oprah hookup.

O!!!!! What a little cutie pie!

I'm not sure if I'm more jealous of this or of Danny's having gone to Elton John's Oscar Party last year and being there AGAIN as I type.

Update: KIEFER IS AT DANNY'S TABLE!!!!!!

Winter White Birthday

Yeeee haw! Another White Party!

Last time we had a White Party was New Years Eve 2006. And that was the greatest party in the history of the world.

(I've gone back and back-blogged and added new pictures to the entry, so if you were there and haven't seen the new entry, check it out.)

.........................

So Wen and Patty were having their birthdays and Imran was kind enough to host at his place Downtown.

Birthday girls looked smokin'.

They got a cute guy bartender and a funny hot nerd girl bartender. Odd choice.

Ims and his hottie roommate looked great.

As did several other people.

Sorry for the weird low angles and ass shots.

(I was rolling around and taking pics from my wheelchair.)

Thank you Marcus for being DD.

Jell-O shots made for an extra good time...

And theme parties just automatically put everyone in a better friendlier mood.

As usual, some jerks went and blatantly ignored the white theme.

But I'm so happy to be able to make it out into the real world again.

Happy Birthday Wen!
