In general, I don't really like Woody Allen movies.
I tried to watch Everyone Says I Love You and fell asleep.
I watched Mighty Aphrodite and found myself kind of annoyed.
And Match Point was ok, there was nice eye candy...but the man sitting next to me laughing a little too loud and repeatedly saying, "That's SO Woody!" kind of ruined the experience for me.
Vicky Cristina Barcelona looked like it had potential though.
First off, I love ScarJo.
Secondly, I love Penelope Cruz (despite the rumors that she is a crazy bitch).
Turns out the movie was fantastic. Best Woody Allen movie I've ever seen. Best movie he's probably ever made.
The three main actresses were smoking hot and each did an incredible job and they all played off each other (and Javier Bardem) with beautiful and hilarious chemistry.
It was complex and funny and sexy and overall just brilliantly written and acted.
