The 'Bu and other adventures.

It was a long day of mini-adventures and almost-adventures.

TimLoh, being spontaneous and totally sweet, decided to rent a convertible and drive to Vegas for a night of debauchery.

Ryan and I were packed and ready to go , but it turned out that the mysto teenager was also going and everything kind of came together to create a slightly awkward situation.

Instead we went to the Barney's New York Warehouse Sale at the Santa Monica Airport.

Later in afternoon, we went over to Adam's for an intimate little birthday party/BBQ for his dad.

There were some cool people, including his super-cute girlfriend Laryssa, while their doggy Snickerdoodle (below) entertained and took some abuse.




Also there was back-alley dodgeball.

A couple hours later, we headed up the coast to Malibu, where Kate London was having a totally epic beachside Hawaiian luau.




There were S'Mores.



And I think Naia and I did a good job of making Chris look not-ugly.

Party-hopping continued...

We rushed home for a quick clothing change and reconvened at a McMaster apartment-party in Venice.





New to the mix was Chris's new roommate, Will (below, center).



The party was quasi-lame, and we quickly bounced to our final destination, The World Cafe.





And then there was a burrito fight.
