Everyone and their mommies came out to the Abbey, the gay mecca of the gay mecca that is West Hollywood. And Toni (Kristy's sister) is in town!
Why did it rock?
Well...the friends, obviously. Having all the peeps out hanging with the gays is something truly special.

And the vomiting of others is always fun...

But what truly truly incredibly oh my god rocked and could quite possibly be the most monumental change in my life?
MY NEW BUSINESS CARDS.

There was a beautiful beautiful waiter boy named Ryan. Word on the street is that he's an actor, like everyone else. Also, he's straight.
Katie and I tried to talk to him. He was a little stand-offish, probably because he turned heads wherever he went and people used any excuse to talk to him, which probably gets quite annoying. Especially if you're having a bad day like he said he was. I was disappointed.
Kristy talked to him.
"Hi!"
"What's up?"
"Nothing. We just think you're hot."
(sly grin) (pause) "So...(flirty head tilt)...what's up?"
"Nothing. That's all I got. (shrug) Bye!"
She just turned on her heel and walked away, without looking back. It was so awesome.
Three mojitos later, my confidence was running high and I decided to approach Ryan one last time before leaving the bar.
I handed him my card. He warmed immediately:
"Hey Ryan, this is probably totally lame because I'm sure you get this all the time...but I just wanted to tell you I think you're ridiculously good-looking and I would love to take pictures of you for my portfolio..."
"Wait, you're a photographer?"
"Yup."
"Cool! I'll call you tomorrow!"
He hasn't called yet. He probably never will...but still....I feel incredibly awesome.
I think the symbiotic relationships between actors/models and photographers are fantastic and I look forward to many more.
The ride home was fun:

Also, yesterday we saw David Carradine (AKA Bill, from Kill Bill) at LAX waiting for his ride. He looked bad-ass.
