Vitri's Wedding | Day 4, Part 3: Final Reception and Afterparty

The Grand Finale. Woohooo!

I know many of you are thinking "enough with the wedding pictures already!"

I'm sorry. It's a little excessive. But it was an incredible wedding.

Final reception. 500 people.

First Dance. Joshua Kadison - "Beautiful In My Eyes"

Play time.

Dance time.

Fun.

fun.

Party.

Aunties.

Gift horde-ing.

Rose-petal throwing.

Ready to pass out.

Push-ups.

Wastedface children.

(I taught them how to do a really good wastedface.)

Connie does much better though.

Reception ends.

Sobered up with some water.

(Marriott had the nerve to sit the bride down and go over the final bill.)

Ended up across the street at the bar.

More drinking.

Group picture.

Tribute to Farrah Fawcett. (She died too!)

"Everyone do Charlie's Angels!"

Matt, I mean, Dan did fierceface.

Varun did drunkface.

More push-ups.

We ended up at home in the basement.

Quote of the weekend:

Varun (from the corner of the room): "Uh ohhhh...you guyssssthhh... Someone threw up over here........"
Justin: "....Varun... Those are pennies."

I passed out on giant dog.

Varun passed out on giant Asian.

I'm not complaining. Me love Varun. The End.

Vitri's Wedding | Day 4, Part 2: Indian Ceremony

So we went back to the house for a quick change...and of course Felix failed to tell me when we were shopping for kurta-pyjamas that the kurta I was buying was THE EXACT SAME COLORING as the kurtas of the groomsmen!

Ugh. Whatever. I guess I blended in. It's fine.

Felix I will kill you.

Aunties prepped Jordan for his big entrance.

Zack and Cody flirted...

I entertained some Aunties.

Paparazzi took their spots.

Aunties initiated dancing...

Jordan was helped onto his GIANT horse.

And our "parade" through the Marriott parking lot took place.

It was pretty awesome...

Jordan had to strike a moving house before he could get off the horse...

Aunties blessed him...

And they had the Indian Ceremony...

Indian ceremonies are pretty slow, with hours of chanting and mantras and stuff in ancient languages that nobody understands. Felix had to stand up on stage the entire time. I felt bad for the poor guy. At a certain point he started swaying and I was certain he was going to fall asleep and collapse.

But he didn't.

Yay!

Ceromony finished and the end was in sight. Just one more party to go!

We changed for the third time that day.

Now it was time to party!
