Dr. Farshid, MD

Farshid knows how to throw a party.

He was renting out venues and hosting open-bars long before anyone else was.

And it is now pretty clear where got his epic party-hosting skillz from.

Following the Hermosa Beach Concert, I rushed down to Costa Mesa for Farshid's Med School graduation party hosted by his lovely parents.

It all started with a curry eatfest.

People were all dressed in beautiful Sasian clothing.

His little sister Farina put together a slideshow.

And his dad entertained with speeches.

And then there was dessert...

...after dessert...

...after dessert...

...and cupcakes.

Yum. Congratulations Dr. Kazi!

Dr. Dan, M.D.

Beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Shrine Auditorium, former home of the Academy Awards.

Families gathered from across the globe to watched their most promising offspring graduate from the USC School of Medicine.

The place was large, but the seating so cramped.

Amazing that celebrities dressed in enormous gowns and millions of dollars of jewels used to have to cram themselves into these seats for 3-4 hours.

The ceremony went underway.

The USC Marching Band played random covers like Offspring's "The Kids Aren't Alright"...

Some old doctors gave some old speeches.

Scott, whose wedding I will be shooting next week in Laguna Beach, gave a hilarious speech.

And they presented diplomas.

(Yes, there are some exceptionally good looking doctors coming out of USC. If anyone wants to go wife or husband-hunting I have a list of where they're all doing residency. ;-))

But nobody's as big a catch as Dr. Dan!

After the ceremony we headed into Founder's Field.

Drinking commenced immediately.

Mr and Mrs. Dr. Dan were so proud.

Yay for having useful doctor friends!

Yay for being a pretty doctor wife!

Let the eat-party begin!

Congratulations Dr. Dan!

You makes us all so proud.
