More Eatttttting

My grandma is CRAZY about Ming Court, where she had her banquet. And literally the next morning the family went back there for lunch. And then we went AGAIN for dinner.

NUTS. Seriously nuts she is.

I skipped the lunch. But for dinner we had mMMMmmM cheese crab.

Truffle-y pork potato stuff...

And ew...goose webs. I did not touch mine.

Family dinners so fun!

That evening at Ming Court, Kristy went to the bathroom before leaving the restaurant...and found AN ENGAGEMENT RING.

We reported it to the manager, saying we had found "something important" and if anyone called asking for a missing "expensive item" to call us, but no one ever called.

So a few days later we went and got it appraised and it was a flawless .6 karat diamond. Worth a couple thousand dollars. Crazy! (Kristy is, I believe, still currently wearing it on her right hand.)

Oh, we also had love jello.

Ohhhhh and then another day Gooma brought us to this great Indian restaurant Tandoor, which has THE GREATEST Indian buffet I've ever had in the world. Literally.

Normally buffet food gets over-cooked and isn't that great.

Not so here. Everything is prepared perfectly.

The whole fam went.

And loved it.

We are eatmonsters.

And then we also had lots of family dinners at home, prepared by the lovely maids, Jo and Mercy. Lots and lots of delicious seafoods.

And veggies.

And seafoods.

And then gradually everyone started departing. So we had one big night out with our parents before they all left.

We started out walking along the harbor...

On HK's version of the Walk of Fame...

Then we stopped at the Intercontinental (where I went with Amanda my first night)...

Breathtaking view.

And fun leaning Green Dragon drinks!

And yummy desserts.

Woohoo!

I also went to Ajisen Ramen for my favorite Garlic Beef dish.

And ramens with TL.

And then finally we went on a cookie quest.

Cookies Quartet. Home of delicious bite-size cookies.

Ok we're almost done with HK. One more meal and one more night out.

Will post that stuff tomorrow-ish.
