Bar celebration / Kebab Factory
AC and Dave were in the city taking the New York Bar Exam.
It was an 8-hour-a-day, two-day affair.
When it was finally over we broke out the alcohol and hit up Kabab Factory for a celebration.

Kabab Factory is in Murray Hill on the 27th and Lex, right around the corner from Anne's house.
It's BYOB. And the food is incredible and cheap.

Seriously. Best indian food I've had in the city.

Following the meal we bar-hopped.

Felix eventually got up and ran away.

The last thing that I remember (or don't remember) is him chasing me down the hallway, blacked-out, with all his laundry in his arms, because I was holding a delicious turkey sandwich.

Awesome.

Heidi returns
Almost two months ago I dropped Heidi off in Italy for her summer-long archaeological dig.
Monday night she returned home.

We took over the 12th St. Bar and Grill and hooked up our own iPod and made a dance party.

Yay Heidi. We have missed you.

T.O.'s / T.O.T.O.N.N.O.'s
Totonno's is T.O.'s family's restaurant which serves "the best pizza in NY...possibly the world."

Zagat does not lie.

If you go...make sure you order the secret eggplant parmesan appetizer. I don't believe it is on the menu.
It is SMFG.
Also, order Sangria.

And extra sauce.

And meatballs and eggplants on the same pizza.

It was a perfect night.
Great food. And just warm enough without being a sweatfest.
Afterwards we headed back to T.O.'s to play poker and have a relatively low-key evening.

We were joined by a West Coaster.

And beer.

MAO's BBQ
Anne is headed off to India for several weeks where she soon will experience the joys of curry, over-crowdedness, and peeing out of her butt.
So, she decided to have her coworkers (The Condé Nast-ies) and friends over for a little BBQ.
Recently, she had procured these sweet little beer-bracelets, so that you don't lose your beer or drink someone else's herpes-laden one when you drunkenly put yours down.
Brilliant.

Apparently in preparation for her trip to (or return from) India, Anne has been stocking up on the T.P...a wise choice.

Random scenes from the BBQ:

Sing Sing / Celeb Sighting!
We started the night sober and starving with a cancelled Hoochies game and dranks up in Hells Kitchen.

The theme was "no smiling".

Then Tak came up with a brilliant suggestion.

Karaoke!

Instantly upon arrival at Sing-Sing we saw Paul Rudd (Clueless/every Judd Apatow movie) standing at the empty bar.

While we didn't get to hear him sing, he had emerged from his private karaoke room to pick up a pizza and grab a pitcher of beer from the bar.
He was totally dreamy.
...............................
Drinks were poured.

Songs were sung.

Connie played beer wench.

Sake was poured.

And it all culminated, of course, in a blacked-out rendition of "I Want It That Way".

Sing-sing. Never a letdown.
