Grand Finale: Piano's

To celebrate the wonder that is Tee, we tried to get everyone together at the same place for a night of fun and, most importantly, dancing.

Since we had the most awesomest time there the last time I was in town, Piano's was a no-brainer.

It is THE best bar. Ever.

KG gets full credit.

Fun because it's got multiple rooms for staging your night.

There's the smallish, crowded, and really fun main room, where you can get warmed up and mingle and still kind of hear each other.

There's also a courtyard or what looks like a courtyard out back for live bands.

And then upstairs there's the dancefloor.

We started out in room one as we waited for peeps to trickle in.

Felly, Anne, and I plotted our epic upcoming Asia trip...

And many of our favorite faces showed up.

Even Sandra Kwan popped by for two seconds.

I'm not sure if it was Anne who started it, but someone decided that instead of buying $12 cocktails, it would be a better idea for anyone who went to the bar to just buy armfuls (like, 8 at a time) of PBR for $3 each.

Pure brilliance.

...........................................

Before long though it became time for magical dance-party to begin.

Of course as soon I started dancing I dropped my camera and broke it:

At which point I took the broken camera (the lens would not retract) and smashed it against the wall several times.

And magically, it started working again.

I was so happy that I went on a photo-taking spree.

At one point also, Tak did a total faceplant.

Unfortunately my camera was still a little busted and I only managed to snap a reaction shot.

So. Much Fun.

As colors started to blend and memories started to fade, we autopiloted to Burrito Kingdom.

I think New York City is in my 3-year plan.
