Overlooking the good stuff.

In all my bummed-ness (and blogger being down yesterday), I have forgotten about all the wonder in my world this week.

First off, Chlobags has been staying with us as she trains for her new fabulous position heading up the NY branch of a new-ish fashion line. You know you're important when you're company rents you a convertible.

Also, I finished a new piece for my first book (coming out sometime in the next 20 years), Clone World:

And since yesterday was such a horrendous day for several of us (employment-related sadness, car accidents, friend-troubles, etc.) we decided to bail out of the party we were going to attend and instead make delicious food, eat delicious burgers, drink delicious beer and milkshakes, totally veg out, and play Taboo!

(Matt and Ryan got a head start on the drinking.)

Thank Jesus for good friends.

(And Mother Theresa, who, according to Eugene, is Jesus's mother.)
