The New Face of Adidas

Matt was recently made the new face of Adidas's ClimaCool line.

Adidas. As in David Beckham's Adidas!

You can check out the website here.

There are also a bunch of funny commercials where he's Mr. Adidas surrounded by a couple of gym douches.

Congratulations Matt!

Adidas is awe$ome.

Please invite me to the next Adidas party and introduce me to Posh and Becks.

SUPEROMG - RJR on The Bachelorette!!!

I don't know how this slipped by me until now, but I found out yesterday through a chance encounter with MichaelTan that our childhood friend and eggfurious cast member Jay (RJR) is going to be on The Bachelorette...premiering TONIGHT!!!!

Jay resurfaced in my life about a year ago just as I was getting ready to leave LA.

We had a delicious lunch at Sur...

On the day we took these headshots...

(And at the time I didn't really know why he wanted headshots since he is a lawyer and not an actor...)

But we stayed in touch... and he attended my Incredibly Going-Away Party.

And hit on some of my pretty ladyfriends.

Wow wow wow wow wow....I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE BACHELORETTE TONIGHT!!!!!

It's on at 9pm on ABC!

I was going to be watching it anyway, but this just makes it SOOOOO much better.

Like...I mean...I've known Jay since we were 6 years old and we went to sleepaway camp with Mike and Charlie and Connor and Matt and played Go Fish! naked in a sleeping bag. So weird.

Craft again and other L.A. treats

A couple months back, Kristy brought us out to an amazingly epic dinner at Craft.

Last weekend while I was in LA, it happened again.

We started with Bloody Marys.

Then there was an amoooooz booooosh of avocado puree with onions and tomatoes and popcorn for crunch...

...served with a side of Tequila shot (of course)...

Then we had salads with poofy trufflebread and trufflebutter.

A delicious egg with flowers and a yummy sauce.

We had farm chicken. Perfectly cooked and not a tiny bit dry.

We had the 64-ounce sirloin dry rub which was ENORMOUS.

There was another meat I think it was Filet Mignon (?)

There was duck.

There was pasta.

There were delicious delicious mushrooms.

And there was SHARING!

Also there were lots of leftovers and the restaurant does this sweet thing where you basically valet your leftover and they give you a claim ticket to get it later.

Then there were desserts.

So the meal wasn't as incredible as our first time, since that time set the bar pretttty high.

But it was still wonderful.

The following day, RoommateDanny brought me and Kristy to BLD on Beverly which is a fantastic lunch/brunch spot.

Kristy had the homemade hash.

Danny and I split a Cuban Pork Sandwich.

And a Pot Roast Sandwich.

Oh and we saw a MAO clone.

(Although MAO would NEVER abuse her beautiful award-winning hair by wearing a BASEBALL CAP! Yuck!!!!!)

Marky drove me to the airport and then it was back home to NYC!!!

I'll try to get all my NYC posts up this week before Campus Dance/Meghan's Wedding (!!!).
(I know many of you are eager to see pretty pictures of yourselves)

Coming soon in this order:

Danny's Visit
Standard Beer Garden
Los Feliz

I die.

Bjoern shot Casper Van Dien's headshots the other day (you may remember him from Starship Troopers and not much else) and they are incredible, as would be expected.

Quote of the day

-- Post From My iPhone

Some lives are just perfect.

On May 14, just a day before her wedding, Danneel found out that the pilot she starred in, "Friends with Benefits", was picked up by NBC.

It's probably an understatement to say that it has been a VERY good week for her.

Here's today's press release:

Newlywed Danneel Harris, who just said “I Do” to Supernatural hottie Jensen Ackles, is part of the NBC’s newest TV series Friends with Benefits. Instead of enjoying a relaxing honeymoon, the actress has hit the road to immediately begin promoting her new show.

First stop: NYC for NBC's Upfronts:

The remainder of the cast of "Friends with Benefits" includes Veronica Mars and Party Down actor Ryan Hansen, Jessica Lucas of Cloverfield, Ian Kesler and Fran Kranz.

Per NBC, Friends with Benefits revolves around:

“A group of twenty-something singles as they navigate the difficult, and often confusing, world of dating. Ben Weymouth (Ryan Hansen) is on the hunt for the perfect woman who meets his unique set of standards, while his best friend, Sara Maxwell (Danneel Harris) is just looking for a man to settle down with and raise a family. Ben and Sara have fallen into the habit of turning to each other for moral and physical support as they wait for Mr. and Mrs. Right to arrive. Their friend Aaron (Fran Kranz), a romantic at heart, doesn’t approve of Ben and Sara’s complicated friendship, but he, along with the womanizer Hoon (played by Ian Kesler) and straight shooter Riley (Jessica Lucas) are all distracted with their own dating trials and tribulations.”

The pilot was penned by the writers of "500 Days of Summer" and the series will be executive produced by David Nevins and Brian Grazer ("24", "Arrested Development", "Friday Night Lights").

Friends with Benefits will appear on NBC this Fall!

The trailer looks promising!

And, I mean, come on. With that writing and producing team how can you possibly go wrong?

In the meantime you can check out Danneel in her upcoming movie projects "The Roommate" co-starring Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly and Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, and "The Back Up Plan" starring Jennifer Lopez.

Woohooo!!!!

I'm at Bjoern's sorting through wedding photos.

Just got a call from People Magazine and they need some of his photos from the wedding ASAP.

We are furiously editing and retouching.

Be on the lookout for a hot wedding spread next week!

The Wedding!

So apparently there was a crazed fan/wedding crasher who took unauthorized photos which you can see here.

I flew to Dallas to shoot the wedding last minute because Bjoern was doing the photos and when I heard this I had literally just watched a clip from Supernatural at the gym the day before so I knew exactly who Jensen was.

The show looks great. And funny!

So Bjoern asked me to come help with the wedding and I figured I'd go and help and take some beautiful pictures for my portfolio.

I looked at last-minute flights. They started at $800, but it would totally have been worth it. But then I realized that even when flights are that expensive you can just use airline miles to get the flight for cheaper! (I paid 25,000 AA miles for a flight that would have cost me $825.)

Hooray!

It was pretty surreal that I was admiring the beauty of the groom and his co-star/best friend Jared one day...

As well as that of the bride and her costars/assumed bridesmaids...

...And then a couple days later I'm jetting off to see them on one of the most special days of their lives!

Surreal and EPIC!

The fact that Jared is only an inch shorter than me = instant besties.

I only have Bjoern to thank for not only inviting me, but for being the greatest most-inspiring photographer, mentor, and friend and for teaching me everything I know.

I owe my entire career and lifestyle to him! Thank you Bjoern forever and ever!!!

Congrats D&J!!!!
