These past four days have been wonderful. We've had all kinds of visitors and new arrivals to the city as this new NYC era begins.
(1) Thursday
It began with an empty plate and a sad Felix.
But we were at Totonno's for an epic unlimited post-game pizza and beer fest.
(Totonno's is this year's official sponsor of the Noguchi's Hoochies.)
We were showered with neverending pizzas with all different toppings...
Mini eggplant parms...
And the best Penne alla Chicken Vodka I've ever tasted in my life...
Mmmmmm chicken vodka.
It was relatively low-key for a Hoochie gathering.
We eated until we could not eat no more.

(2) Friday
I met MAO for a Calamari Salad.
And then Smileyjohn showed up with several drinks in hand.
I don't even remember where this was...
But Smileyjohn = Smileytimes.

(3) Saturday
Dan! came down from Boston for a visit.
We hosted a BBQ at Felix's in her honor.
Also newly arrived, Chris and Teresa! (You may remember that we had a going-away party for Chris no more than a week ago. It only took him THREE days to drive cross-country.)
After 400 straight days of rain, it was wonderful to have a fantastic California-style sunny day.
Many an iPhone provided the soundtrack for the day.
We grilled...
And played a game of Kings with rules that resulted in everyone getting "velociraptor-ed"...
Someone also tried to create a "Dunking for Beers" rule...
It was short-lived...
What a perfect afternoon of daydrinking!
We stayed until evening fell...
And then feasted again at ChinaFood.
We attended a party called 99 Red Balloons...
...which was truly small and truly terrible and consisted of the 99 Red Balloons song being played on repeat in a 100 sq. foot lamespace.
So at 3am we headed to Korean BBQ.
And ate some more.
---------------------------------------
(4) Sunday
Lady Di was in town with her beau.
After an epic Italian dinner at Max, we headed to Pianos which is literally a block away from my new apartment.
First thing we saw was an Abby clone...
Except it was male with facial hair. But still, from far away the resemblance was uncanny.
After Pianos, we went to Splash. Because Sunday. Is. Beer. Blast.
And Beer Blast =
$8 for 20 BEERS
I kid you not.

I've only been once, but last time I went, I think this happened.
And with our $8 admission fee, away we went.
Dancing was to 80's and 90's hits...
It was so much fun.
Even PWu came!
And there were wastedfaces everywhere.
Cheesesteaks closed out the epic long-weekend.
I love New York.
